Terrific performances by an extremely strong cast. My prediction: Viola Davis will get an Oscar nod for this one.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Not for the weak of heart

I had read about this film in a magazine, and was eager to see how it turned out. I was not disappointed - the acting was terrific and the story (of Uday Hussein and his body double) was as horrific as you might imagine. Dominic Cooper does an amazing job of playing both characters.
There are definitely some gruesome scenes in this movie, portraying an Uday who was totally out of control. My friend and I were still trying to calm ourselves down, hours after the movie.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

I saw a matinee of this movie (only $7!) and really enjoyed it. It was long - over 2 hours - but the special effects were really cool and Scarlet Johansson's character rocked.
The plot was predictable, but that's true of most action flicks - you watch them for the action, not the scintillating dialogue.
I never saw the first Iron Man, so I don't have anything to compare this to, but I would say that it's on the level of the good Batman films.
Robert Downey Jr.'s and Gwyneth Paltrow's characters were interesting, but Scarlet stole the movie.
Definitely worth watching!
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Action-oriented with suspense

I really enjoyed this movie. It had a good mixture of story-line and Bourne-like action. Matt Damon did a great job, and I also enjoyed the actor who played "Freddy."
Even though this is a fictional story, it makes a statement on what the US was doing in Iraq and whether or not we should have been there in the first place. Fans of President "W" will not enjoy this movie.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Best action movie I've seen in years

I must admit - I'm a huge fan of the Terminator series. The original "Terminator" is my favorite movie of all time (a perfect blend of action, special effects, suspense, and romance).
"Terminator Salvation" is a terrific follow up to the first three films. Yes, you do have to suspend disbelief here and there, and there are a few plot holes, but this is science fiction - you're not watching the movie for the screenplay! The special effects in this film are incredible, and the action sequences will keep you on the edge of your seat. Plus, the film doesn't take itself too seriously, with a couple of humorous jabs at the previous Terminator flicks.
If you loved the first Terminator, you'll love this one.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
