Almost as good as the first one. Although I'm not a big fan of Marvel overall, the Ironman movies are way above average for genre films. Keep up the good work everyone, I'm hoping to repeat this assessment for the third installment!

Another Gilliam triumph

I've seen almost all of Gilliam's films when they first hit the screen and this is right up there with the rest of them. His visuals, strange and wonderful, punctuate solid performances by all of the various performers he works with. That all "The friends of Heath" could step in and save this film made it a must see. Bravo Terry!

I went to see this film with a large group of friends last night and every single one of us were simply blown away by it. The visuals were so realistic and so beautiful it was almost mind-numbing. Cameron has set a new standard in film cinematography with this one!
It was unanimous, at least for all of us, that this film deserves the number one spot as, not only the best SF movie ever made, but surely one of the best movies of 2009.
