it was okay in that it rewrote the history of the old tv show and introudced hte characters. but it was very loud and very long and i would have preferred they picked it up where hte characters already were the A-team and allowed us to learn the backstory.

This is a good, solid movie. We had fun, which is pretty much what we were looking for. The plot was good, the acting was excellent, the CGI was awesome. This was one of those rare times when we came out of the movie theater and did not feel robbed.

I really enjoyed the movie. This was a good film that seemed to keep you laughing and sucked in at the same time with all the ridiculous action and humor. Fathers Day is coming up and I definitely say keep it in mind. I went to AMC and of course I loved their experience. My 14 year old son and 15 year old daughter and 2 friends of hers and myself went to see The A Team. We were big fans of the TV show so we felt they may not keep the traditions of the originals. There was a little cussing (never in the tv show) and predictable in some places but the movie was a ten. I'll be buying it when it is for sale and will see a #2 if it comes out.

Fast, furious and funny. Non-stop action. They really captured the campy essence of the old T.V. series. By far the best reboot of any old TV series to the Big Screen. Laugh out loud funny in many places - suprisingly good was our vote. When something gets good critical reviews, we usually disagree, but this one even had my husband rolling! Characters weren't trying to "redo" their earlier cast, the actors made the parts their own.
As mentioned in several places, the effects were "iffy" in alot of places, totally unbelieveable, but the laughs kept coming and they were able to overcome that for me.

I love the big screen for action and some of the photography was amazing. These actors were all great! Some of the humor was a bit cheezy and a few details like the Mexicans speaking to eachother in English were missed. And yes, it had some over the top special effects. I went into this with very low expectations, and it was a LOT better than I expected it to be! Some of the action scenes are obviously over the top and beyond silly, but the characters are great and the movie is just plain fun. I smiled and laughed all the way through.

Joe Carnahan's "The A-Team" does what JJ Abrams' "Star Trek" did last summer: infuse a TV franchise of yesteryear with a charismatic cast and a zippy enthusiasm. "A-Team" pulls off the requisite origin story that most recent remakes and reboots take an entire film to go through, in the blink of an eye. Characters are reintroduced, and a moment later, reinvented. The plot makes as much sense as the ingredient list of a Big Mac sandwich. But what a Big Mac!
You'll be having too much fun to notice the plot holes the size of Nebraska. Carnahan is smart enough to know who his hitters are (Neeson and Cooper), and who not to ask too much of (Copley and Jackson, who are fine enough). If you ever wondered what Carnahan's Mission Impossible 3 would have been like, the answer is probably like this, but "A-Team" is way, WAY more fun than any of the M:I films.
It's fitting that both franchises have a memorable theme (a toss-up between which one's greater), but Alan Silvestri doesn't use the theme for a foundation as much as Giacchino did in M:I-3. Instead, he takes Giacchino's approach in "Star Trek," for the most part, saving the theme for the end, save a few background cues. It feels like he recycled his G.I. Joe score and simply played the A-Team theme in the beginning and the end, though his arrangement of it is stirring.
Too much CGI at the end, where this throwback to the 80s calls for a more analog approach, and too much shaky-cam during pivotal fight scenes keep this film from being a classic in the pantheon of action cinema, but it's still one fun ride. See it as loud and bright as you possibly can!

The movie was great! The cast was great.(Murdock was cast perfect) and it was just 2 hours of fun. Check your brain and expect impossible things to happen. Best TV made movie I have seen.I will probably go see this again. Make sure you stay for the credits.

I went into this movie with low expectations, but I was pleasantly surprised at how well they did this movie. It was better than the TV show and yet still was true to the fans. Very well written and the acting was great. No camp, just great actions and create character development. I may see this one again.
