It would have been hard to live up to the last Star Trek featuring this cast, but I was hopeful it would be as good or better. Alas, it was neither, but I still enjoyed it. I liked the altering of the old story line, just wish the story line was more original as it was the last time. The effects were excellent, as were the entire cast.

Great effects, great cast, and a lot of laughs. I wasn't a huge fan of the TV show, but the movie is fantastic.

Great effects lift this film from something other than a plain boy meets girl movie. Compared to Star Trek, this left me with that same sinking feeling his last film did.

Guys, take your girlfriend or wife to see this. It will give you the required excuse to offer your friends why you went, just don't tell them how much you enjoyed yourself.

Better story line than expected

but still missed the mark. Good to great special effects, but it never hooked you in. Save your money and purchase Star Trek when it comes out on DVD
