Was dissapointed- Would recommend waiting for the DVD- Not what we were expecting -& dont buy a big drink if you do go to the theater because its WAY too long- no pause option in theater- The scenes were cool, but difficult to see- picture was too big for clairity- The actors were great of course, but just not the big thrill that the trailers promised... Good movie, but I would wait for the DVD & rent it

Christian Bale is by far the best Batman to come along and quite possibly plays the best super hero part ever. Due, in part, to Heath Ledger's very convincing and menacing Joker, this film portrays a much 'darker' story than previous Batman movies. The action doesn't rest and the story moves along consistently. If ever there was a film that needed to be done on IMAX, this was it!! Absolutely awesome on the huge screen!

With all of the hype for this movie, it is one of the few movies that lived up to expectations. There was wonderful psychological development with the Joker's character and I loved what the director did incorporating Harvey Dent. The only draw back I have is the movie's rating. I understand that there was nothing explicit in the film to render it an R rating. I honestly do not think there was even a curse word spoken. However, the dark nature and at times sadistic acts portrayed on the screen make me feel as though it could have had a different rating. Perhaps a PG-16 if only that existed. Highly enjoyable though and definitely will recommend it to my adult friends. Keep the kiddies at home though!

This movie is what all movie experiences should be like. It possibly might be the best movie I've ever seen. I'll have to give it some time and think about it. But, it definetley one of the best. The only draw back I had was Bales voice when he is Batman. It's very odd to say the least. But, other than that you have to see this movie in IMAX.

I've seen TDK on IMAX twice and have been blown away both times. Everything from the sound, visuals and scope is amazing and bigger and better. TDK is definitely a great movie on its own and one for the books and not just comic books. This is a hero story, a detective story, a good vs. evil story. It doesn’t deserve to be pigeon holed as a comic book movie. It carries so much more depth and great story telling. The Nolan brothers’ script is very tight and concise. The acting all around is spot on especially Mr. Heath Ledger’s performance of the Joker, but all the rest of the impressive cast deserves just as much credit. Great movie all around and now I can’t wait for the third chapter to this great saga.

We seen this movie in IMAX and it was awesome. It was sad to know that it was Heath Ledger's last movie, especially since he can't come back and reprise the role of the Joker. I loved the entire movie and thought everyone was great in it. The only thing that stood out that bothered me was the distortion of Batman's voice throughout the movie. It was a little over the top so I tried to ignore it when he spoke. Two thumbs up!

I finally got to see this movie and I must admit I was sitting in the theater like "wow". From the very start of this movie the joker was amazing. I can say that Heath Ledger did an amazing job. I'm sure all the other reviews have said everything good I would say and more. This movie was incredible. And seeing it in the IMAX theater made it all the more amazing. Christian Bale is my favorite Batman by far, and Heath just does a fantastic job as the Joker. I can't wait to add this one to my personal collection.

I'm a woman and don't often like movies focused on too much violence. However, I heard about Heath Ledger's acting and decided to go. He stole the show - awesome. I'm so sad we lost him. He should get an Oscar for this role anyway - give it to his family or something. But about the violence - there was something about how it was all pulled together, in the way it flowed somehow that made it more than just violent. Certain scenes even carried a moral value. Only one part (and I don't think I will give anything away here), is that the man's burned face was a bit B movie-ish. Other than that, I highly recommend this movie. Go see it!

This was one of the best superhero movies I've seen in a LONG time. It's worth seeing this movie just for Ledger's performance as The Joker.
Ledger leaves us with one hell of a final performance, and this is honestly going to be difficult for the franchise to top in the next installment. (Honestly, as far as superhero movies go, the only serious competitor I can see for the foreseeable future will be The Watchmen).
There's a ton of action and lots of new Bat-gadgets for Bale to play with. It would have been nice to see one of the subplots left open for expansion in another installment, but overall this is the first must-see movie of the summer.

The Dark Knight was absolutely amazing! Just watch it on IMAX and you won't be sorry. I'm actually going to watch it on IMAX for another time with another group that hasn't seen it, although some have. Heath Ledger couldn't have a better job! The cinematography is spellbinding. There are many scenes where you feel like you're actually there with the action because of the way the scenes were shot specifically for IMAX!

One of the best action movies of all time... Heath is awesome. He steals the movie from Batman. Christian's voice when he is Batman can be a bit annoying ... but, there has to be a difference from his Bruce voice ... its just too raspy. See it in IMAX and you will blown away by the feeling that you are almost in the movie. There are a few scenes that will cause your knees to twinge ... if you are afraid of heights sit in the rear of the theater ... you have been warned ... :-)

The Dark Knight was the best Imax experience I have ever had. You could actually feel the the movement of the movie while sitting in your seat, it was fantastic. The visual and sound effects are mind blowing. Heath ledger's perforamce as the Joker is just incredible. He really is my favorite villian of all time. Christian Bale's role was also amazing, he really does capture the whole essence of what being Bruce Wayne/Batman would be like. The movie is just amazing and reccomend anyone who loves action and thrills to go see it!

I was fearful of the reviews the movie was getting but it exceeded my expectations. I'm not a Batman freak but would say he was my favorite childhood super hero so I tend to be critical. It was amazing, worth seeing at an IMAX theater. Heath Ledger is as amazing as reported but as well all the casting minus one is spot on. Bale as Batman is convincing as both Batman and Bruce Wayne. Michael Caine is the perfect Alfred. Morgan Freeman is wonderful as Lucius Fox. My only disappointment is Maggie Gyllenhall as Rachel Dawes. I just didn't feel she fit in this role. Eckhart as Harvey Dent- great.

This is a movie that feels large even before it hits the IMAX big screen. The Dark Knight grabs you and doesn't let go for the whole 2+ hrs. Heath Ledger's Joker lives up to the hype and may drive me to see it again just to watch him one more time. But... As good as this movie was, I didn't walk out saying "Wow that was a rockin' good time!" like I did with Iron Man. I think Favreau did better with the performance he got out of Robert Downey Jr. and connecting with the audience. Christian Bale's grunting dialog with the suit on became annoying. Really, you don't need to disguise your voice Bruce. Iron Man was better because it had all the good things DK did AND it was fun. Still.... go see Dark Knight! On IMAX!!

The good: IMAX visuals and sound effects. Heath Ledger, Gary Oldman, Aaron Eckhart. The bad: Christian Bale's raspy Batman & Ms. Gyllenhall as Rachel. The plot was haphazard and needed editing, too long. Morgan Freeman, Michael Caine and Anthony Michael Hall seem wasted in this. For me it just lacked something and fell flat, not worth all the hype!

Wow! this movie is amazing. I was worried because, really, who could top Jack Nickleson as the joker. But the answer to that is Health Ledger!!! Wow !!! Amazing!!

The acting was amazing - Heath Ledger was even better than I ever imagined - Katie Holmes was replaced wonderfully from Batman Begins!!! I was captivated for the full 2.5 hours!
