With all of the hype for this movie, it is one of the few movies that lived up to expectations. There was wonderful psychological development with the Joker's character and I loved what the director did incorporating Harvey Dent. The only draw back I have is the movie's rating. I understand that there was nothing explicit in the film to render it an R rating. I honestly do not think there was even a curse word spoken. However, the dark nature and at times sadistic acts portrayed on the screen make me feel as though it could have had a different rating. Perhaps a PG-16 if only that existed. Highly enjoyable though and definitely will recommend it to my adult friends. Keep the kiddies at home though!
