I really have nothing negative to say. I'm 30 years old and I LOVED the book series. I went to see this movie with a very diversified group with ages ranging from 14 to over 50. Only 2 out of our group of 10 hadn't yet read the book and for all that we all loved the movie for what it was: A movie BASED off of a book. I think that they got all the major things from the book into the movie (sometimes a little too quickly and rushed) and that some of the acting was a little, for lack of a better term, subpar (mostly Kristen Stewart). Other than that the movie was exactly what I had been hoping for! I'm looking forward to a second, third and (*fingers crossed*) fourth movie!!

Pretty much stuck to the book. Obviously lacked the details of the 500 page book in only a 2 hour movie. Cheesy acting, but if you are a fan of the book, you will like the movie. Decent for a low budget production. Hopefully the second movie will get a bigger budget and will be better put together. I liked the movie because I love the book. I will definetly buy it on DVD.

I did not think that this type of love was possible...for a book anyways...!

I have not read a Twilight book so I can only tell you that I enjoyed the movie more than I expected. It was nice to see a movie with my entire family that I never felt uncomfortable with crude language. The story was interesting and I left this movie wanting to see more. I am going to read the books now to see what happens to Edward and Bella.

I have read the book and overall, was not disappointed with the movie. They had to move pretty quickly and leave some details out but it was obviously for time purposes. The characters were pretty much right on target and were great. I will go see it again, and probably buy it when it comes out. You should go see it, and try and read the book before you go so you can appreciate it a little bit more. But overall, great.

I thought at times it was a bit over-acted, but that wasn't really their fault. The book is driven by what is going on inside Bella's head, and you can't really but on that on the screen. I would have like to have seen more chemistry between Edward and Bella, which they had at times, and at others they didn't. Overall, I was very impressed by the movie, and it was one of the better screen adaptations of a book that I've seen. Very well done!

DId I hate it? No. But, did I love it? No. I'm well aware that you can't make a movie fom a book without cutting out a few things. I think that the Cullens should have had a much more profound impact in this movie than they did. I liked Robert's portrayal of Edward (I found the accidental leaks of his English accent adoreable and endearing). Kristen's version of Bella left A LOT to be desired. She didn't show even a hint of the physical affects that Bella has toward Edward and her performance was very flat. As far as the fight scene at the end... disaster. Bella should have been near death, but ended up with a bite wound and broken leg.

I think this movie was amazing! The actors were great and they followed the story pretty well. I do feel that they cut some vital info out and changed it a little too much. I hope they make New moon longer and use more from the book, because if you didn't read twilight some of it just doesn't make sense

Yes, I'm not a teenager and I went to see Twilight! I find the series entertaining. Not mind gripping, certainly, but entertaining. Perfect for teen audiences. The movie was out and it was as good as I expected. My expectations were mediocre. I think there were face makeup issues. But I did like the fact that CGI was minimal in the film, a BIG plus in my book. The action was good, and there were still the sexy overtones between Bella and Edward. I will be watching all of the rest of the movies, as soon as they come out!

My daughter got me hooked on the books and I thought I might be disappointed in the film but I wasn't. Far from it! I thoroughly enjoyed it. The film captured the romantic tension between Bella and Edward as well as the easy friendship between Bella and Jacob. The few things that were different from the book worked just fine. I loved the baseball scene! The soundtrack is awesome and the song chosen for that scene is perfect. By the end of the film I was left wanting to see more of the Cullens, having got to know them in the books. I sure hope the film does well so that we can see the next books brought to life in this way!

Great adaptation of the book with the seemingly low budget that Summit provided them. There were a few times that I was thinking that it was a bit to TV movie-ish (like how they decided to do Edwards skin in the sunlight and the running...), but overall I was very pleased with the movie. I will be going to see it again so I can just watch it and not focus on what changed from the book and what not. I did notice that overall they kept to the book pretty closely and I loved it! I drug my husband along with me and he said, "It was much better than I expected!". He then made me tell him about the next books. :)

I took my daughter to see twilight, I was glad I did. I thought the movie was great. I love anything vampire, and this one was nice, with alot of comedy. Edward was hot and he kept my attention. I hope the next movie is even better. I was told that the movie followed the book to a tee. So I will start reading them to find out what is next. My daughter fillled me in with a few details because she has read the books. I was great and we will see it again.

Having read all the books in the Twilight series, I think I had an advantage over someone that hasn't. I was very worried going in that I wasn't going to be happy. To my pleasant surprise, it was great! It was like reading the book in fast forward. By the end, I was ready to watch it all over again.

I read the book and i know your not supposed to compare books and movies but even if you did not read the book, this movie absolutely STUNK. This is coming from a crazy obsessed twilight fan. Kristin Stuart looked like she was having seizures whenever she spoke, shaking her head like a spazoid and blinking stupidly. As for Robert Pattinson, although he is completely gorgeous he stinks at acting, i give him props for assumeing an american accent but his first line in the movie, hello, sounded stupid.. I was completely dissappointed at this movie. It was one of the worst movies i have ever seen in my life. Do not waste your ten dollars and two hours.

The lack of build up/ info on the secondary characters that made up so much of the story, as well as some what dumbing down the story to make it more appealing for the 13-15 age group really left out a lot in the movie. Other than those things the movie has pretty good acting of what it is, thought it's a little slow moving in the beginning of the story.

This movie was amazing. They did condense it quite a bit but if they put ever single detail in a 500 page book then it would be like 12 hours long! So for people who didn't like the movie just stick to the books, there's nothing wrong with that. They put the main aspects into the movie which was enough for me. There is bound to be sequels for the people who are picky the next movie will probably have a bigger budget for production, will go further into the story, the characters and most likely have some "I love you's" so I'm not complaining. The chemistry between Rob & Kristen made Edward & Bella's love for each other even more intense and believable. Keep an open mind and hope the next movie is even better.

i was disappointed in the movie, i've read the whole series and loved it but the movie just didn't live up to the hype. edward came off as way creepy and parts that were supposed to be intense seemed funny.

I'm a 33-year-old stay at home mother of two and I LOVED the Twlight series. I thought the movie rocked! The actors/actresses that were in the movie were excatly how I had pictured them in my mind when I read the book. The movie followed the book as close as it could the only down fall was (and it always is when you make a movie from a book) is that they have to leave out a lot and are not able to develop the character realtionships like they do in the books.
I would highly recommend the movie...in fact if I can get a babysitter I'm going back to watch it again...maybe even with my husband

The cinematography was excellent.....yep that's the only nice thing i can say about it. The movie was excessively dumbed down. There was no character development, Bella's character only had one emotion throughout the entire movie, and worst of all--they turned Edward into a sociopathic pedophile! Plus when I went to see the movie, almost everyone in the theater screamed at the sight of any new character, laughed excessively at parts that had no humor, and cheered for the logo. I'm sorry, I understand clapping at the end of a good movie, but that was a bit much. I loved the books and I feel that they didn't capture the true essence of the novel.
