I was on the fence as to whether or not to see this movie... Thought that it was over-hyped and wasn't all that interested. One weekday, I was off from work and figured I'd go see it in IMAX just to see what the fuss was about. LOVED IT! It was absolutely PHENOMENAL! The graphics were simply amazing. I've seen it twice now and I'm planning on going again this weekend before they pull it from IMAX!
Yes, I recommend this movie.

I really have nothing negative to say. I'm 30 years old and I LOVED the book series. I went to see this movie with a very diversified group with ages ranging from 14 to over 50. Only 2 out of our group of 10 hadn't yet read the book and for all that we all loved the movie for what it was: A movie BASED off of a book. I think that they got all the major things from the book into the movie (sometimes a little too quickly and rushed) and that some of the acting was a little, for lack of a better term, subpar (mostly Kristen Stewart). Other than that the movie was exactly what I had been hoping for! I'm looking forward to a second, third and (*fingers crossed*) fourth movie!!
Yes, I recommend this movie.
