Not as detailed as the book. Not as menacing as the book, no fangs appeared once. But yes I would recommend it to anyone. It was fun and well cast. A great love story.

MOVIE SET WAS FANTASTIC, MADE ME MISS THE GREEK ISLANDS. CASTING WAS GREAT. JULIE WALTERS WAS VERY FUNNY. THE SINGING WASN'T GREAT BUT IT DIDN'T MATTER THIS FILM HAD EVERYTHING. A MUST SEE FEEL GOOD MOVIE. JUST UNFORTUNATE WE COULDN'T GET UP AND DANCE LIKE AT THE STAGE SHOW.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
