Jackman was great; Schreiber was a much better Sabretooth. Lots of action. Enjoyed it from beginning to end!!! Explained much of Wolverines beginnings w/o dragging out the movie.

This movie did not let me down. I love all the X-Men movies, especially Wolverine's character. This movie kept you interested with all of the action. I would recommend to anyone but especially if you like the X-Men previous movies. I think I actually liked this one the best out of all of them.

This movie was average for Marvel movies. There was plenty of action throughout this movie, however, there wasn't enough of a storyline to the movie. You didn't know much about any of the characters and only got into the movie because of the special effects and the fight scenes, which were excellent. I would recommend this movie to a friend for the "action" part of it. I only hope that if another movie is made, there will be a better storyline.

This was well worth the wait to finally understand the past of Wolverine. Though this movie could have easily been 3 hours, they kept the events of his past moving steadily forward. The role of Victor Creed was nothing short of Perfect. Hope to see these 2 appear in the next X-Men Origins: Magneto

Story line jumped around quite a bit. Sometimes without any ability to connect to the origins of some of the characters. Did not follow Marvel history. Only similarity was use of characters for creation of movie. Overall action was the name of the game. Plot was fixed around how to use characters to create fight and conflict scenes to introduce as many characters as possible. Some good development of Wolverine character lost to amnesia idea. Why was he the only one they were going to wipe memory?

Great action sequences and surprising plot twists are overshadowed by terrible dialogue. Although the running time is relatively short, WOLVERINE was about 20 minutes too long. When a wounded character gasps "I'm so...cold" right before they die, I'm out. Too bad that a decent movie was ruined by something so easy to fix.

It was action from beginning to end. Hugh Jackan is always a great actor Plus he's sooo hot! I have yet to see a picture with Hugh Jackman that's bad. All in all, I would give it a 4 out of 5 and was glad I watched it in a theatre. Makes you appreciate Hugh Jackman's handsomness even more on that big screen! Yummy!!!

Not my favorite X-movie but still worth the $9. It was kind of slow going in the beginning but picks up about halfway through. The acting was good - Liev did a great job as Sabretooth. I wish they would have incorporated more of the other X characters but it was nice to see some of the guys you dont hear about in the main three X-movies.

Explains Wolfy's life story. Lots of growling and claws. Liev Schreiber is cast perfectly as Sabertooth.
Ryan Reynolds got buffed up for his role. Hopefully Deadpool will have his own feature film in the future.
A great action flick that just has to be seen at the movies to get the full effect.

This was a good movie. I just wished they would have used more of Gambit and some of the others more than they did. Some of the sceens could have been left out like the gym sceen with Wolverine and blob or when wolverine chopped down all the stairs in the alley trying to get at Gambit. But you have to Admit..Hugh Jackman is one heck of an actor! And now its time to see Magnito's back story.

Fans of Wolverine beefcake will not be disappointed
Fans of memorable action scenes and cool looking effects shots will likewise not be disappointed.
Fans of really compelling storytelling should look elsewhere. There ain't none in this installment. Relentlessly flat dialogue, the by-the-numbers feel of something turned out by a computer application. Episodic structure.
The direction is competent and workman like, but not more.
Still, most fans are watching Wolverine for the beefcake, claws and kaboom and will not be disappointed.

I, personally, am a fool for movies about people with superpowers. This one certainly delivers with great action scenes and seamless special effects so that many times (right alongside my 9yo) I found myself yelling out things like "whoa!" and "that was awesome." While I always prefer more character development, I don't mind its absence so much when the action is dazzling. (Plus, there's Jackman, Schreiber, and Reynolds, which is certainly hot guy overkill, but that's just gravy.)

Any X-Men lover is going to enjoy the movie. The action was great, the plot was decent, and there were some really cool characters. My only complaint is that there were some points where the graphics weren't that great, actually that is my biggest complaint. I would still see any X-Men Origins movie. They did a good job, leading this movie up to the first Wolverine Movie.

This movie has a great story line but the special effect seem cheesy at some points. Casting was great for all characters except Gambit. I've always seen this character as being a lady's man with a strong accent. Neither of which was the case. I would recommend this movie to anyone but be prepaired to be dissapointed with the special effects.

For what the Director promised, he produced. An action packed movie, with a complete story line, unlike X-3. The movie was fun to watch, and the characters where real-ones from the comics, which made it all the better. Gambit, for instance, was a HUGE success (wish they will do another movie with him in it).
Though it was riped apart by the "critics", if you are looking for an action movie, this is by all standard a fun one to see.
Also, make you stay until the end of the credits ;)

The unknown makes Logan cool. This back story is like a 2 hour story on why the Consitution was written on parchment instead of papyrus- doesn't matter and doesn't add anything to the subject. Origins adds little to the 'future' movies that have followed or that may come. The story was OK, effects were great...when used; costumes non-existent, characters- Wolverine was basically the only one that plays any large part in the XMen future (small stint by Gambit- in the the comics anyway); Sabretooth is a second/third tier character in the future, all of the rest are complete unknowns for the most part. Should have developed the series going forward, not backwards.
