During the 'most exciting' part of the movie I found myself thinking "How long is this going to go on?" The visuals actually hurt my eyes, which some of you may find entertaining, but I went home and put an ice pack on my eyes. I like the actors, but this was just a lot of explosions in place of real action.

I originally bought this tickets for my boyfriend and I had virtually no interest in seeing this movie. The movie turned out awesome. It had amazing special effects and kept you on the edge of your seat for the whole movie. Much better than the first. I highly reccommend it.

Transformers: Revenge of The Fallen was unlike any movie I have ever seen... in a good way. The action and suspense was amazing and the relationships between all of the charactors made the movie even more real. This movie has a mix of action, adventure, love, humor, and so much more.

We really enjoyed the movie. It was funny. The jokes, while crude, were hillarious. The special effects were state of the art. The movie was tense and exciting as well. We were on the edge of our seats one minute and laughing hysterically the next. It was well worth the money.
We will definitely buy this movie when it comes out on DVD.

The title sums it up. The Transformers, Revenge of the Fallen, is non-stop action, from the credits to the end. This story is more about the boy growing up and accepting responsibility in the middle of all out chaos. It's also about faith when all else seems lost. Sometime you just have to trust and have faith even when it seems crazy to everyone else. You don't have to read between the lines of this movie or see more than what is given. Just watch the film, it's like a roller-coaster. You will enjoy the ride. . Small children though should be corrected after the show so they will know using that kind of language is not really acceptable or encouraged. Just say the writers and the directors took "license" to use street language.

This film was pure action from beginning to end. Shai did a great job. They played up his girlfriend's sexy factor. I felt like that was overdone a bit.
I read some reviews that said the action was gratuitous to which I would say, "yea...your point?!" There was a lot of action and it was well done. Great action film.
It was a fun film.

If you don't like loud noises and seeing things getting blown up and the best special effects of the summer then you won't like this movie. But I thought it was awesome. The action was so intense that I barely noticed the running time. I did not go into this movie expecting some deep and cleverly acted plot. That's not what it was made for. The epic aspects were conveyed with enough seriousness and the comic relief was well done. That's all you could ask for in this type of movie. I loved it. As did my grandsons!

The movie featured some of the stuff that the Transformers cult wanted to see - big freakin' robots in larger than life battle scenes. Unfortunately, the battle scenes that were the selling point of the movie are few and far between. Too much time is spent on crass humor and attempts to build up a plot that could be built and resolved in half the length. The Transformers that everyone loves and came to know in the first movie are largely absent for most of the film. The Transformers popular with purists have the spotlight stolen by unknown, newly created characters invented by Michael Bay. The next film needs to recover the simplicity and tone of the first one, and leave behind the unnecessary twists, turns and silliness of this one.

Very entertaining movie, and one that I'm sure all Home Theater owners will want to own as their go to demo movie (even more than the first movie was).
LOTS of explosions (typical Michael Bay), huge amounts of action, great and complex fight scenes, realistic (for robot fighting) battle scenes, and decent story. Language and humor a bit more crude than the first movie.
Definitely worth seeing on the big screen, just make sure you're seeing it where they have a fantastic sound system or you're missing out!

My husband and I went to see this move last night, and I gotta say, it was worth the $20. The action sequences were great, and there was a bit of good comedy. However, there was also a lot we didn't like. The circling-around-the-couple bit was WAY overdone, and it kind of made me nauseous. Also, it was a little raunchier comedy than we prefer. A lot of man-parts comedy, and they could have done away with at least 30 minutes of fight scene and it might have been a bit better. Overall, I'd recommend it to friend and family, but it is definitely not better than the first.

i would have to say that this movie is must see. it was very entertaining. there is a nice balance between action and dialogue and the comedy makes it even more enjoyable. Nearly all the transformers talk and have their own personalities which added a whole new aspect to the series; this i enjoyed very much. As for the story, there is not much to say, the whole love drama between Sam(LaBeouf) and Mikaela(Fox) is very cheesy. This was the one downfall to the movie, but i suppose it was somewhat fitting. Well i would just say go see it, it was entertaining, and i enjoyed it, worth every dollar.

This is one of the best sequel's I have ever seen! We waited in line for 7 hours and it was well worth it. Some of the new autobots were very entertaining and funny. It also leaves you with the feeling that there will be a number 3. I will definitely go see this again!

I was immediately disappointed by the heavy-handed sexually suggestive themes in the first 30 minutes. An action film based on a kids cartoon should not have a scantily clad coeds jumping onto laps and camera angles deliberately placed to look up short skirts.
I will NOT be purchasing tickets to see the third movie at the theater. I will wait for the video so I can preview.
Additionally I found the dialog in this sequel was far less creative than the first. This movie was made based on an empirical formula not on any creative idea...and it shows throughout the film.
It was an entertaining film, but not worth the nearly $7 per ticket, and certainly not for a kid under 15.

I thought it was great! Great Action, and comedy. Intense fight scenes, and actually great acting! Good job to Micheal Bay for making another instant classic in the series...! I would like to add that I heard the reviews about the movie being races because of the twins. And me being an african american male didn't see any of that. They just seemed like young kids trying to be hard! They could've been black, white, mexican, or of any other origin...! And very funny. lol

I have to say that the first movie was much better. The humor of REVENGE was completely in your face. One could imagine the writers screaming "look! We're funny! Really!" Robot hillbillies?. The action was great although I can't wait to watch it at home in slo-mo to actually see what was happening during the fights. Megan Fox was completely unnecessary as a character but did acheive the level of eye candy she was intended for. John Turturro did a great job with what he had to work with but it seemed as if his character was thrown back into the mix as an afterthought. As a whole it was an enjoyable film that any Transformers fan should see but fell far start of what it could have been or even what the first installment was.

This go around, the Transformers movie was clearly aimed at less intelligent viewers than before. Why? Because I lost track of all of the plot holes that you could fit Optimus Prime in. In spite of this, there's plenty of grown up language peppered throughout. To say nothing of the "twin-ghetto-bots". Ugh.
Topping things off is the fact this movie gave me an eye-ache. There's too much going on when these things are in fact "transforming". Don't get me wrong, I LOVE science fiction movies and comic book stuff in general, but this movie is ridiculous in so many ways. Megan Fox is hot, duh,she can't save this movie by herself. It's a monster hit already, just be forewarned if you're an adult, you might be insulted...

I thought that the movie was good. The storyline was kind of weak, but the amazing grahics made up for it. I mean it was pretty much 2 and 1/2 hours of robots fighting, and a tiny bit of romance between Shia and Megan. Overall it was good.

The sequel was as good and the original moview. New autobots, former G7 agent was great. The plot was great as get you to wonder about pyramids and other ancient markings.
Overall a great entertaining piece. Will buy it once on DVD and as usual will watch it a gazillion times!

Most of the story doesn't make sense if you're paying attention to it. I can forgive that, though, since I mostly was just looking for a funny movie about giant robots. It's too bad, then, that they took away all the witty jokes from the first movie and replaced them with jokes about people getting hit in their private parts.

I can describe this movie in two words: ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! There aren't words to describe how good this movie was! The action was terrific! The plot was great! The critics weren't lying when they said this was the most anticipated movie of the year. It's the best movie of the year, hands down!

The thing I hate the most about sequels is when they go too far off track from the original movie, introduce too many new characters and too many story lines. This sequel just includes your favorites a little bit older and a lot wiser. It's the good guys vs. the bad guys and a smarmy government guy included of course. Interestingly enough, the old smarmy government guy gets a new role! The new characters add to the story line rather than high jack it and take it to places you don't want to go. All in all we all walked out (ages 39, 38, 16, and 11) going "That was a great movie" which we haven't ALL done in a long time.
