If you don't like loud noises and seeing things getting blown up and the best special effects of the summer then you won't like this movie. But I thought it was awesome. The action was so intense that I barely noticed the running time. I did not go into this movie expecting some deep and cleverly acted plot. That's not what it was made for. The epic aspects were conveyed with enough seriousness and the comic relief was well done. That's all you could ask for in this type of movie. I loved it. As did my grandsons!

When viewed as a comedy as intended it was good. Many very funny moments. If your going expecting a good action adventure, well, let's just say the plot was very cheesy and predictable. But as I said, the comedic elements made the film good. The dinosaur special effects were well done. But the slestak sequences were not.

Everything to love in an Indiana Jones Movie

If you are an Indiana Jones fan, as I am, you will love this movie, It has everything to love in an "Indy" film. Action, good special effects, good pacing, humor and more action. Some other reviews talked about unbelievable stunts as if the stunts in the other 3 films were believable. Come on, if your expecting believeable stunts and plot lines this is not your cup of tea. What was unbelievable was how Harrison Ford still did a lot of his own stunts. My god, he's 67. Fantastic. Anyway It's your choice. For me, I loved it. My last star was not used because of the story line, though. The only flaw, the plot was murky and unclear in places. We never got a clear explaination of why the Russians wanted the alien corpse in the beginning and how it tied to the crystal skulls. Although it was obvious they were alien in orgin. Otherwise it was a great movie. What were people expecting, An Oscar Worthy film? Please enjoy your film with the intent it was made. Sheesh!
