Most of the story doesn't make sense if you're paying attention to it. I can forgive that, though, since I mostly was just looking for a funny movie about giant robots. It's too bad, then, that they took away all the witty jokes from the first movie and replaced them with jokes about people getting hit in their private parts.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
