I won't give it way but I was enjoyng the movie until the end. The archaeology aspect has always been my favorite in these movies and as the movie wrapped-up I was disappointed with how it ended. But overall Harrison Ford did a great job, and there were several parts I was almost rolling on the floor in laughter. The movie is worth buying but I won't see it in the theatre again.

The movie was good although the topic seemed like a reach from the others. As times it felt over-acted and as if Lucas and Spielberg were using the dialogue to apologize for not making another Indy movie sooner. Same familiar witty banter, fight scenes and outrageous foleying that you love from the original three movies. Shia LaBeouf is a great addition to the franchise.

I thought the movie was very good - better than I would have expected after such a long delay. The story at times takes a little long to be told but when there is adventure it is all forgiven. Love that the Indy humor was back, and followed through with "Mutt." He was perfect casting to go along side our old hero.

So, first of all, I thought the movie overall was awesome. I loved the non-stop action. Some of the ways he escaped different situations were crazy! I only have two complaints... One: the whole magnetism thing was a little far fetched for me. If the case was so magnetic, why was it easy to move? Wouldn't it stick to the jeeps a little harder? Two: the alien thing. For me, Indiana Jones is about historical artifacts that no one else can find. Granted, no one could find the Crystal Skull either but it almost seemed a little too sci-fi. That being said, I know that there is some research I need to do on the Crystal Skull legend. As I understand it, there is a lot of fact based information concerning the topic. Anybody have any good websites where I can find out more? Also, I understand it's a movie and not everything is going to be perfect. Like I said before, overall, GREAT movie! I would definitely recommend it to Indy fans and can't wait for it to come out on DVD!

My brother and I who have been fans since the beginning saw this one twice on opening day. Not sure what others are talking about, some reviews say there's too much action, others say not enough. There was the perfect mix of humor, action, suprise, and dialect that any true fan would recognize from other films. Some of the filming was sub-par, but it was shot in the 50's remember... Like most people, I've seen all the Indy movies and I've enjoyed them. Parts of this one made me feel something was missing. The action seens were great, however one of Indy's trademarks is his use of the bull whip. He didn't use it as much as he has in the past. I think Shia was great in his role and if Paramount decides to do another Indy movie he would be great for the lead. Overall, this movies is worth seeing at least once on the big screen. I will probably go at least once more to see it.

For all the true Indiana Jones fans out there, you should appreciate all the subtle references to the past films- I know I did! All in all it was everything I thought it would be. There was plenty of action, although I would have liked more of the archeological mystery and suspense.

This movie is the most frustrating movie I have seen in a long time. I wanted so much more. Harrison Ford limps through this movie and his supporting cast looks like they are wishing they were somewhere else.

I was expecting a really awesome movie with Lucas & Speilberg teamed up and was fairly disappointed. Very little puzzle action, all the action was pretty simplistic barring a few scenes. And they always magically just appeared where the next location was, very little puzzling out of how to find it or get through it. And aliens? Aliens?!? Lucas & Speilberg and all they could come up with are aliens? Overall too simplistic. As an added note, Kudos to Harrison Ford, he's still got what it takes to be a great action hero, the writers really messed this one up.

I had fun, and there was never a dull moment. It was one of the more enjoyable movies so far this year. My one complaint is that they had a little too much campiness--the earlier movies stopped at a slightly more appropriate level of humor than this one.

My son and I went to the 12:01 showing on the opening night. We agreed that it was worth the 19 year wait. Lots of action and we liked the way it brought Indy up to date age-wise. Nice little plot twists and great CG effects. Campy? Of course, but so were the first three. It had been the first movie made, I'd say "pretty good", but as a 4th in a series - TERRIFIC!.
