The movie started slowly, but picked up speed as it went along to a great finish including explaining everything that went before and opening the way for a sequel. The visual sets, costumes and special effects were outstanding, but we often had trouble understanding Robert Downey,Jr due to the sound level and occasional mumbling. If only we could have turned on the closed caption. This was definitely one of those movies that I realize more and more how much I enjoyed it as I look back at it. Don't wait too long to come out with the sequel!

My son and I went to the 12:01 showing on the opening night. We agreed that it was worth the 19 year wait. Lots of action and we liked the way it brought Indy up to date age-wise. Nice little plot twists and great CG effects. Campy? Of course, but so were the first three. It had been the first movie made, I'd say "pretty good", but as a 4th in a series - TERRIFIC!.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
