Not quite the impact that the other Indiana movies had, but it was fun & entertaining. Suspend your belief as with all of these movies and you should enjoy it. If you really enjoy big screen action then don't miss it, but if that doesn't really matter.....then rental is fine. All did a great job, Harrison is STILL Indiana Jones in all his glory. I also wished it would have been about something else.....but who knows it might make you want to know more about the subject....enjoy!

I don't see what some people were complaining about. It is good, full of action (mostly), and as long as you suspend reality (like you would on MOST movies) it is very watchable. I recommend it to any Indiana Jones fan or soon to be. Harrison Ford plays the part just like before, though older, he still fights and whips like before.

I think this movie was a very respectable sequel in the Jones Saga. However, I couldn't get into the whole Alien thing no matter how hard I tried. Besides that, I was thoroughly entertained throughout the entire movie!

I wish the storyline was better. The crystal skull is too obscure for the majority of theater goers. But the action scenes were good. I also liked the humor especially relating to Indy's age. I loved that Marion Ravenwood was brought back. The first and third Indiana Jones movies are still the best.

This is a fun movie. My family had a great time seeing this. I would definitely recommend it if you are an old Indiana Jones fan. The movie was classic Indiana Jones with out modern special effects and the fact that they kept the movie true to the old ways meant that it hadn`t become an over the top box office flop.

This seemed like a logical evolution of the series. We're done with National Socialists and now it's the Soviets. I enjoyed the referrences to earlier adventures (you watch for them, I don't want to spoil anything). Harrison Ford has aged well, and it all fits with the scenario of Post WWII. I must say I really liked the Atomic test scenes, but wondered how they got from Area 51 to White Sands or wherever... Cate Blanchett was very good as a ruthless Russian. I didn't take it for anything more than continuing-saga entertainment, and it worked very well. I will see it again with different friends, and enjoy it again.

My kids & their buddies enjoyed this movie, but I didn't think it was up to the standards of previous Indiana Jones movies (though it was better than the Temple of Doom... Worst. Indy. Movie. Ever.) Having said that, it wasn't bad. A few sparks of the old Indy showed through and some of the stunts were fun. Too long, kinda derivative on some of the scenes (did Spielberg watch The Mummy a few too many times?).

I found myself confused with the storyline. Special Effects were not impressive and very unbelievable. The best thing about the movie are some of the punch lines and even they were not that impressive. I am a big Indiana Jones fan and the anticipation led up to falling asleep in the middle of the movie. i was really looking forward to this movie. Everything that i heard how this was going to be the biggest movie of the summer and i was a fan of the other indiana jones movies as well. I would go as far to say i'm a fan of the franchise because i saw the shows at dinseny world. But, with all that helping the movie out for me.... i dont know how to but this lightly. I hated the movie. It's almost like a brand new director and a bunch of horrible writers created this movie. Not one positive can come from this movie. Not only was the story off key and unbareable to watch. The acting was bad, the affects were about as good as they were when the first movie came out. This movie looked dated and it was just bad. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone. Not even my worst enemy.... I was honestly shocked when i was sitting and realizing that i was wasting my time with the so called biggest movie of the year. Go see something else, or maybe go kick some rocks... that would have been better than this movie.... no joke

I have never been a huge fan of the Indiana Jones Franchise, but I did enjoy the action in the previous movies. If you're looking for unbelievable action, far flung car (?) chases, and a wrap up of the franchise(hopefully) this is the movie for you. Just don't come looking for thought provoking plot, exceptional acting, or deep social meaning. I enjoyed the movie, I really did. It delivered at an average level what most movies of this type deliver. It really wasn't much different than the latest Nicholas Cage National Treasure flick, and I enjoyed that too. But was it worth all the hype? No. Is it the movie of the summer? I hope not.

We had a great time at the movies... enjoyed all the sarcasm and effects. Harrison Ford is still sexy as ever and Shia LaBeouf is quite a fabuous young actor. My husband and I truly enjoyed the movie- it was great fun. Indiana Jones action & adventure. If you're an Indie fan, you will love it. My teen daughter thought it wasn't the best. Granted, I am not sure teens know about the UFO/Alien phenomenon of the 50's- for them it may be far fetched or unreasonable. The movie was far more action packed than I imagined- the movie moved at an incredible pace. My husband loved the sets. Harrison Ford was fabulous.

I LOVED IT! Harrison Ford was true to his character all the way thru. The action, acting, and dialogue went hand in hand with the excellence Indy fans expect. I LOVED the stunts! Sure they are a bit fantastical, but that's what we love so much about Indy - he always makes it thru those tough situations! If you go expecting to be entertained, then you will leave happy. If you go looking for socially redemption, then no. We had a good time and left satisfied. Indy is getting a little long in the tooth but he can still eat crackers in my bed! The story line is a bit iffy but it fits in with the 1950's and the alien theme during that period. The special effects were not too hokey and we thought it was a well spent 2 hours. Go and have some fun!

Very big movie, good effects, tons of hype. I love Harrison Ford but he is a little too old to be believable. Mostly enjoyed it, but never got the same excitement as from other Indiana Jones movies. Plus, aliens, really?

Good to see Indy back! He's still got it! The movie was amazing! Awesome entertainment!(However I did find the waterfall scenes somewhat cheesy.) But overall two thumbs up!

I don't hyper-analyse the movies - i either like it or don't (those there are reasons why. BUT I really liked this movie! Good Indiana Jones action - good effects and funny lines. I know I was smiling throught most of the movie!! I can see the new ride at Disney a-coming - and what a ride it'll be....
