Entertaining Fluff

Cute movie but very predictable. Both characters play stereotypical new yorkers. Neither character seems to like themself or each other very much. The most likeable actors are Sam Elliott and Mary Steenburgen. The best parts of the movie are in the trailer. Still, enjoyable flick if you are looking for 2 hours of fantasy.

What a wonderful film this was!! This has to be the best film of Sandra Bullocks' career to date. It is touching, heartwarming, and a great movie for the family. I saw this with a friend and we loved, loved, loved it!! Highly recommend this film to everyone.

Outstanding Flick with great plot

Really enjoyed the new Star Trek. It was a perfect set up for introducing the old characters from the TV series in a new and interesting way. Each character had sufficient screen time to segue their integral part into the plot. Loved the casting of the new "stars" and boy, is the new Kirk a hottie! Those blue eyes.... Great action, and terrific directing. Can't wait for the sequel.

What we expected - entertainment!

If you go expecting to be entertained, then you will leave happy. If you go looking for socially redemption, then no. We had a good time and left satisfied. Indy is getting a little long in the tooth but he can still eat crackers in my bed! The story line is a bit iffy but it fits in with the 1950's and the alien theme during that period. The special effects were not too hokey and we thought it was a well spent 2 hours. Go and have some fun!
