Well, it definitely wasn't the original. New and improved, sort of. Jeff Bridges great...but needed some help making this a great remake. The directors...the Brothers Coen...not really their genre, first mistake. Damon good, just not his part. Josh Brolin, definitely different for him. Hailee Steinfeld good little actress....writing for her good and she made it work. This movie had moments of greatness....but not enough moments to put it on the map. A director like James Mangold needed to get ahold of this, director of 3:10 to Yuma......You can, wait to see it on DVD, on Demand, Instant Play etc etc....don't rush to the theatre....

Very disappointed in Martin Scorcese...acting was great by everyone. The story way too convoluted and not in a good way. Too long in some spots...suspense fell flat on it's face. If you want to get technical...what was with all the beginner green screen action??? The music, oh come on...didn't fit, was too loud in spots, etc. Poor adaption, but then again was the book that great? The trailer people need to get huge applause, they made the movie out to be what it should have been. Love ya Leo, but not the movie...
No, I do not recommend this movie.

Well, again Keanu pulled off the cyborg type acting really well...Kathy Bates well just wasn't convincing as Secretary of State. Jaden Smith, well look out Dad, here comes the next great actor...he was fantastic. Shot well, lots of wholes in the story, and the intensity could have been more exciting...wasted time in just talking....it was ok, good on the big screen but not a must see, in my humble opinion.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Not quite the impact that the other Indiana movies had, but it was fun & entertaining.
Suspend your belief as with all of these movies and you should enjoy it. If you really enjoy big screen action then don't miss it, but if that doesn't really matter.....then rental is fine. All did a great job, Harrison is STILL Indiana Jones in all his glory. I also wished it would have been about something else.....but who knows it might make you want to know more about the subject....enjoy!
