Great Movie!!!
I loved all the action as well as the story line and how they were able to mix the drama with comedic actions and words. I also appreciate all the CGI that was used inorder that this film could more realistic.

Brought my 6 year old son and it was a bit too old for him because he could not understand the story behind iron man but he enjoyed it anyway. I loved it and am awaiting a sequel.
I would save this for the younger kids to rent at home instead of bringing them to the movie.

Storyline as well as the cast of actors blended very nicely, I loved Sparks wittiness. Good against Evil tone - hope was heard loud and clear. I'd love to have that Ironman armor for special occassions. Bravissimo - can't wait to see the sequel...

I admit I was hesitant about this movie, but after so many rave reviews I knew I had to judge for myself. The story was well-developed and didn't insult your intelligence like so many superhero movies. I was pleasantly surprised with Robert Downey, Jr.'s performance. His performance brought a wit to the character. I was also happy to see Gwyneth Paltrow back in a role I wouldn't have expected, Jon Favreau and company kicked off the summer in style.

Great movie, and an excellent beginning for the summer movie season. Fans of the original comic book will not be dissapointed. those of you who have never read the comics will not find anything to far fetched to understand. If you've managed to keep up with all the comic book adaptions that have been hitting movie theaters, you'll have the plot figured out pretty quickly, meaning the story is somewhat predictable but is still a lot of fun. The movie is full of excitement and great visuals effects. I give a lot of credit to Marvel Studios for producing a nearly 2 hour movie. Many of the studios today are trying to produce shorter movies and reduce the storyline in an attempt to squeeze more showings of the movie per movie house. Nothing is scrimpoed on here. Just remember to load up at the snack bar before the movie. Enjoy.

Being married to a comic book junkie really can be really cool when a new movie like this comes out because I get great insight. We took the kids today and they loved it. Yes, it had a bedroom scene that grossed out my son and Yes, it has some scary realistic combat and terrorists scenes that made my daughter gasp, but so does the nightly news. This movie was awesome. We loved it and it is so worth the money for a few hours of fun. IWe would watch it again and again and will when it comes out on DVD. It is was pretty cool to see a person stand up and say " I did it and it was wrong. How can I make it right?" Wow, accountabillity. What a concept.

As corny as superhero films tend to be, Robert Downey Jr did the role justice. As did Paltrow and Bridges. Unlike last year's blurry idiocy Transformers, this CG blockbuster is definitely worth a watch on the big screen.

Good movie. Solid, straight forward, great caste. Special effects where top quality. Almost an Indiana Jones feel to it. The ending is a bit weak, for which I market it down to a 4. Definitely an enjoyable film.

As the lead-in movie destined for a future Avengers movie tie-in, this was a powerful start. Downey nailed Tony Starke's conflicted personality to perfection. Paltrow, Howard, and Bridges each fit perfectly into their parts. The CG and F/X were perfectly meshed. The origin of Iron Man was a delight to watch in this telling as the extended R&D performed by Starke was full of interest and humor--never boring. There are plenty of small in-jokes, references, and cameos for true fans to find and enjoy. Watch out for "Mr Hefner". <smile>
HINT: Be sure to stay to see the last footage AFTER the credits are done. Promises of things planned to come...

Very entertaining, well worth the time and money, even for a non SciFi/Fantasy fan. Robert Downey, Jr. was excellent, and continues to prove himself as an actor. Gwyneth Paltrow was very good. If the movie had a shortcoming it was that there could have been more of her, developed her character further.

I believe that this was by far the best Marvel movie to date. The story line was great and the action was superb. I also thought the final scene after the credits was a great way to end the movie leaving us ready for more.
