Apparently, my friend and I WERE the only ones who hated this...shockingly unfunny. Melissa McCarthy rocked and the few scenes with her were hilarious. The rest of the movie was incredibly slow-paced. Kristen Wiig is unfortunately totally vacuous as an actress. She seems to have one role/style of speech down pat: Penelope from SNL. 2 hrs and 5 min of that was horrendous. I blame the editor here too!! 90 min at most should have been the run time. Am shocked everyone found this so funny. Yes, the bridal shop scene was VERY funny -- but certainly not worth the remaining 2 hrs and 1 min! Bad!!

I can't remember laughing so hard at a movie in ages. Very raunchy but funny! It's not just a "chick flick." My husband was hysterically laughing and loved it too. Great summer movie - lots of fun!

No lie, I have NOT laughed that hard at a movie non stop EVER! Superbad was funny and I really laughed at it but this movie takes the cake. There was SO much to laugh at the WHOLE movie. I didn't expect this movie to be that funny. We only went to see it because Hangover 2 was sold out until midnight. I can now say that I am glad it was.

Bridesmaids is a great movie for Kristen Wiig's first starring vehicle. Kristen also wrote the screenplay and was sure to spread the comedy around; everybody gets a chance to shine in this flick. Fair warning: this movie is not for you if you are offended by sexual humor and you will probably walk out in the first five minutes. However, if you can see how the frankness of the humor also sets up the real conflict in Kristen's character then you will really enjoy Bridesmaids. Kristen has a great supporting cast and has a perfect foil in Rose Byrne. This film is well worth the cost of a ticket!

An emotional and serious plot of love and friendship that showcases female hilarity. Kristen Wiig is hands down the funniest female comedian with off hand remarks and expressions
This film pushes the argument that women can band together in ridiculous rants and situations just like men. The thing I liked the most was the film's pacing. After every big laugh there was a paused reaction with either an expression or repeated statement that made it so the audience missed nothing.

This movie was slow. It did have some funny parts. The storyline was good. Would not recommend it at the theaters, but a dollar rental!!

AHAHAHHAHAHHAAHAHAAH. this movie was histerical. i am not one to laugh inside a theatre, but this movie mad me laugh so hard i was blubbering. OK yeah its kinda a chick flick but it is SO funny for everyone and anyone. go see it. well written. and kristin wig as well as all the actresses are very good. all the improv made it that much better!!
