My 9yr daughter said 5 stars all the way and best 3D ever! I still think #2 was my all time favorite...this was probably my least, though it was absolutely great, Johnny Depp is fantastic, as always!

Sooo funny!! I actually saw it twice, which I never do... And I laughed out loud loved it both times! The ensemble cast was great...Kristen Wiig was excellent and there is no doubt Wendi McLendon-Covey stole the show...she was absolutely hilarious! Loved it!

As a mother of two tween girls, I've rolled my eyes more times than I can count at the wall of posters in my daughters' rooms. I have to say, after watching this movie, I'm impressed at what a talented, extremely hard working young man he is.... I just hope he doesn't crash and burn like so many do because he is really an amazing little boy! I hope the people surrounding him take care of him the way the should!

Love Gerard Butler, just not a sci-fi all over the board action movie fan. The movie tended to jump all over and it was hard to keep up sometimes. I'm not going to lie...thought it would have a little something for both husbands and wives....the action for the husbands and Gerard Butler for the wives...not so.....to much action....not enough Gerard Butler.
No, I do not recommend this movie.

Johnny Depp was awesome...he's an incredible actor, no doubt and without him, the film would have been even more boring. With that said, there were times the film seemed to drag and it was quite long. Interesting story line, especially because the basic premise was true, and overall pretty good.

My mistake - I read the book first. Completely disappointing, because it was nothing like the book and not even close to as moving or as touching, with the exception of the ending. Still, it's definitely a rental, not worth the movie ticket price.
