Nothing really new in the newest and, supposedly, last Shrek movie. We can only hope this is the Final Chapter. There were a few low key giggles in this one but nothing really original and fresh. Most of the time it felt like something I had seen before. At best this may be one to rent (or buy) somewhere down the road and file in the "electronic babysitter" cabinet.

Unlike the first, this one was geared more towards kids. It was cute and the there were humorous parts, but still not as good as the first Shrek. I expected a different twist to the ending. Donkey and Puss had the best lines!

I enjoyed this movie very much, however my 4 year old son did not. There were too many scary night-time scenes with witches and that nasty little Rumplestilskin (sp?) for his comfort. We made it through the whole thing, but he asked to go home a couple times, then decided he could make it through to the end only if he sat on my lap.

As with the past Shrek movies, this one also offered a combination of family and adult fun! Went with our daughter, son-in-law and 9 year old grandson, and we all had a great time! If you liked the first 2 Shrek movies, by all means see this one as well. The first is my favorite of the 3, but all were entertaining. Just remember that, if you choose the regular showing vs. the 3D, there will most likely be lots of children. So adults, either see the 3D version or a later showing if the kids bother you.

I have to admit, I had low expectations for this 4th addition of the Shrek movies, but I was very happily proven wrong. This is a great way to end the Shrek phenomenon. Even the things that I had already seen in the trailer were laugh-out-loud funny in the context of the movie. By the way the ages of the 4 of us that went was 50, 25, 20, and 20. We all loved it!

This was a great ending to the 4 Shrek movies. It was funny, family friendly, and held your attention throughout the movie. My wife is a sap and she ended up crying twice during the movie. It can touch on some very core heart strings, but it is also right there hitting your funny bone all the way. I would not hesitate and go out and see this movie NOW!

Better than I expected, especially after the last one! I don't think you're missing anything much in 2D really other than saving some $$. Some of the younger kids in the theater were crying so don't know if the movie scared them or maybe they were just tired... Good fun movie though!

I thought this was horrible!! Not worth the money! Not at all like the first 3 movies, this one was very "dark", evil and scary. I saw lots of parents leaving with their little ones in tears!! Don't bother wasting your time or money!
