I took my son to see this based on some of the great reviews here, flaunting the "Clean humor" which is absolutely untrue! This is a typical Adam Sandler movie with crude, sexual jokes all throughout, some of them not even funny! It is a slapstick, predictable comedy, but definitely one that can wait for DVD.
Better than I expected, especially after the last one! I don't think you're missing anything much in 2D really other than saving some $$. Some of the younger kids in the theater were crying so don't know if the movie scared them or maybe they were just tired... Good fun movie though!
Good movie with a good message which can unfortunately get lost in all the other hype going on. The whole Georgia thing was completely unnecessary! Karan should have stuck to the original message. Shah Rukh and Kajol both did an excellent job! I don't know what some of the other reviewers are talking about when they are critiqueing the movie quite incorrectly...wonder if they saw the same movie I did? Worth watching and do take the kids....they will learn something too!
Extremely slow and boring. Some moments of brevity to keep you laughing but absolutely did not stay true to Sherlock Holmes' style. The only saving grace of this movie was Robert Downey Jr.
Excellent movie after a long time!! Really enjoyed the humor, kept the movie from becoming too serious! The younger actors did a really good job. The character of Vishnu & the young girl were very real. It was nice to see that kids have a positive role in spite of Auro's handicap, instead of the predisposition that kids are always nasty to the special needs' kids. A feel good movie. Abhishek has certainly come a long way!!
I had really high hopes from this movie and was quite disappointed with the additions & omissions from the book. Whoever wrote the screenplay did a poor job on adaptation! The character development was good & the acting was great by all main characters, but the plot of the story was badly handled. The focus was too much on relationships between the teens instead of figuring out who the Half Blood Prince was and the "CRUX" of the story...the HORCRUXES were very poorly described.
Good movie for people who HAVE NOT read the book, but quite irritating for fans of the book. I thought Goblet of Fire was the best movie so far, as it stayed as close to the book as it could.
Intense acting by Travolta and Washington! Other cast also did a good job. My only problem with this movie.......was it REALLY necessary to drop the F-bomb so much?????? Could've easily gotten a PG-13 rating if not for that!!!
This was the best Star Trek movie ever! Zachary Quinto was a perfect choice for Spock! All the actors were really good fits, loved McCoy, Scottie and Chekov! Great story and action. Not for young tweens who have never watched Star Trek though, my 12-year old and his friend were bored!
