3D alone is worth seeing - animation!!! Fluorescent Navi just beautiful. Lead actor is Hot & does a terrific job. The movie is amazing and the 2 hours 43 minutes goes by pretty fast. The story is a little weak and they wrapped it up kind of quick at the end. You could pretty much see where it was going but the star of the movie is the technology and realism. The blending of animation and the actors is unique. Every sci fi fan will enjoy but I will be surprised if it develops the cult following the Star Wars did or BattleStar Galactica did.

You don't often get amazing special effects AND a magnificent storyline, but Avatar has it all. This movie is on an epic scale equal to the level of Lord of the Rings: Return of the King. loved it..will again want to watch it..superb 3D effects and good story..the characters were so real that some sequences brought me tears..loved Pandora..:) and the laws there..

fantastic , awsome experience! must be seen in 3D on IMAX for full mind blowing effect. Story was great. would have loved to have seen more. You'll be cheering for the aliens! loved every minute.

very good movie to see in 3d. the 3d special effects were incredible. just thought the movie was a little too long. but not a bad movie worth a few extra bucks to see it in 3d. the glasses alone are worth it not the cheap red and blue cardboard ones but a very good pair of plastic ones
