i dont know what these people are talking about. this was one of the best remakes made so far. it stayed with the storyline of the original. yeah the owl was not in it but that owl was just annoying anyway. the special effects were great. the 3d was good but not as good as avatar. this is the way the writer of the original would of wanted the original to look like.if you liked the original movie you will love this.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

if you just want a good laugh this movie is very funny. dont go in thinking there is a plot or a good story. its just a movie that will make you laugh. also if you like 80s music there is plenty in there.

very good movie to see in 3d. the 3d special effects were incredible. just thought the movie was a little too long. but not a bad movie worth a few extra bucks to see it in 3d. the glasses alone are worth it not the cheap red and blue cardboard ones but a very good pair of plastic ones
