The visuals are just awesome! Tim Burton does a good job of making the characters come to life - the mood kind of matches the book. I loved the job done by the actresses who played Alice and the White Witch. Definitely needs to be seen at least twice!!!

The movie was good but I wouldn't recomend buying tickets movietickets.com, because we got there 45 mins before the movie started(movietickets.com said to get there 30 mins before) and there were no seats left, so we had to sit in the front off to the right and we couldn't really see very well. Movietickets.com SUCKS! I will never use it again.

i for one love Alice in Wonderland. it is one of my favorites as well Johnny Depp is an all time favorite actor of mine and Tim Burton films are my favs too. Alice in Wonderland, being a Tim Burton film, there were many expectations and i think for many people the film was different than what they expected. though for me i think Tim Burton did an amazing job telling the story and it is one of my favorites. i was very pleased. i looked past my expectations and focused on the production itself and i don't think anyone could have done this movie except Tim Burton.

Visually stunning; not as dark as I expected from Burton. Depp was his usual delightful self and Alice was a strong heroine. Helena B-C was wonderful though the daintiness of the White Queen was rather off-putting. All in all not a great movie .. but fund to experience in 3D.

The movie was great, with plenty of color and interesting scenery to appeal to your immagination. I do not think that the 3D was needed for this movie. I would have rather paid for the regular price. My daughter and I are big fans of Johnny Depp, he is the reason we went to see this movie. We both loved the costumes. Definetly was good to see in 3-D as it would not have been the same affect. I do believe though that it might be a bit frightening for kids under 12.

*spoilers within* I thoroughly enjoyed the movie! I agree that Alice was amazing and they should have promoted her more as the true star of the movie. Alice's wardrobe was amazing and the the graphics were fantastic. I loved the little horseflies, so cute. I loved how they tied in this story of an older Alice into cannon of Alice as a child - I was questioning that until they actually showed it. The only down side to the movie was the IMAX experience. It was my first IMAX and the 3D glasses were horribly uncomfortable and there wasn't that much 3D imagery anyway, it was like a bug here and a stab of a sword there. So I'd definitely say save the money and go see it in 2D or in regular 3D. But whatever you do, go see the movie! It's fabulous!

Overhyped, didn't live up to it as much as I thought it would, and I've been a fan of Lewis Carroll's work since I was a kid. Depp as the Mad Hatter is the reason a lot of people are going to see this, but Mia Wasikowska as Alice was stellar in her role. Anne Hathaway as the White Queen was excellent!. The IMAX 3D was not as amazing as other Imax 3D films I've seen, but it did add greatness to the film. It was just ok, but not a great film. Would I recommend it? Absolutely, but the Imax can be skipped for this film.

The majority of the characters, particularly Depp's, are well developed, the dialogue is well written and delivered and the 3D effects make Wonderland come to life. This is not the traditional Alice in Wonderland story, being far darker than previous film adaptations, which works with Alice's age. The story-line is not the most original but is well depicted. The Red and White Queens (Bonham Carter and Hathaway) are disappointingly underdeveloped, but Depp and Wasikowska compensate with excellent performances. A film well worth seeing for those who are already fans of Burton or Carrol, and for those who aren't.

My review title says it all. Also, I felt like the 3D was equal parts conducive and distracting to the visual feel of the movie. The characters were overall well played but, for all the serious depth Burton strove to give them, everyone except Alice came off as either wasted potential (Absolom) or a shallow attempt at a deep character (The Hatter, The Red Queen). I will say that Anne Hathaway, normally no more than a pretty face on a tepid character, was perfect as the White Queen.

I loved it! Ordinarily, this type of movie was not my style. I have not seen any of Johnny Depp's recent movies. None of the Pirate's movies or the Wonka one. But this was great! I loved the tea party! The Red Queen was hilarious! I would see it again.

I took my Sister her three children and My Son, we saw it in IMAX 3-D and it was amazing. Tim Burton's visions are always wonderful. I would recommend this to everyone I know!!

I absolutely loved it, the theatre made sure the full surround system was running at full potention, and loud which I love for my movies. The images especially in 3D was incredible which only was an enhancement to Tim Burton's mastermind. Johnny Depp is awesome as always, the makeup is just aluring, and it makes for a wonderful "Get lost in a movie" feeling.
