The movie was awesome. My hats off to Johnny Depp in his role of the Mad Hatter. The best I have seen him act. This movie in IMAX 3D is worth every penny to see. Will definetly buy it when it comes out on DVD. A kid friendly movie as well, my daughter is 7 and she was not scared of the movie.

There are some elements in this movie that are a bit too intense for small children. But, I think the movie is visually stunning, and Johnny Depp and Helena Bonham Carter are terrifically cast as the Mad Hatter and The Red Queen. I think CGI is here to stay and as long as the artists think of new and innovative ways to elaborate and make effects more interesting than it's worth watching these movies. Tim Burton is a dark and gothic director, but that's his style and craftsmanship. All in all, the characters are strangely good, the production design is top notch, the costumes are unique, and the cinematography is terrific. You will enjoy this movie if you like me are a movie lover.

The acting was wonderful, the scenery beautiful, and the casting was dead-on... but I still left the movie feeling like "I didn't LOVE it the way I wish I had". Maybe it was because it had been so hyped up and my expectations were set high, but it just didn't pack the punch I expected it too. Even the 3D seemed very subdued and almost like an afterthought more than a tool used to generate immersion into the story. I'd still recommend going to see it, but bring a child if you can - watching their wonder at the movie will surely eclipse any disappointment you may feel.

It was a great take as a saga to Alice in Wonderland Through the Looking Glass. I like that they used the original sketch of the Dodo. And it definitely has a good motto. I am a fan of Alice in Wonderland for many years. Knowing i was coming into not the same story but a sort of sequal this gave me a clean slate to come in to. It was an alright movie. I enjoyed the story and some of the characters. Just there was little to do with the world of Wonderland and to much on the Mad Hatter. Characters are important but you ran through the other cast and it became about Alice, The Red Queen, and The Mad Hatter. I consider this more of a rent than a movie ticket or dvd. saw it in IMAX 3D and was more impressed with the Hubble 3D trailers effects

Tim Burton has a dark-ish sense of humor that has served him well in original creations such as Nightmare Before Christmas and Coraline. In Alice in Wonderland, his influence is clear and amazing! The classic tale of Alice is fast forwarded 10 years and we see what has happened since Alice stepped back through the looking glass. Now Alice is back to, yet again, face the Queen of Hearts. The Mad Hatter, played expertly by Johnny Depp, is indeed mad and hilarious. As usual, Burton has an unusual take into the histories of the characters that adds a whole new dimension to what you thought you knew.
Definitely a must-see.

This movie is very entertaining and it gives you a sense that anything is possible, even if it seems impossible to the average person. The 3D effects were soo very awesum!! The actress who played Alice was especially very good with her role!!
