Over-hyped, but enjoyable

The acting was wonderful, the scenery beautiful, and the casting was dead-on... but I still left the movie feeling like "I didn't LOVE it the way I wish I had". Maybe it was because it had been so hyped up and my expectations were set high, but it just didn't pack the punch I expected it too. Even the 3D seemed very subdued and almost like an afterthought more than a tool used to generate immersion into the story. I'd still recommend going to see it, but bring a child if you can - watching their wonder at the movie will surely eclipse any disappointment you may feel.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
