Fantastic Burton Spin

Tim Burton has a dark-ish sense of humor that has served him well in original creations such as Nightmare Before Christmas and Coraline. In Alice in Wonderland, his influence is clear and amazing! The classic tale of Alice is fast forwarded 10 years and we see what has happened since Alice stepped back through the looking glass. Now Alice is back to, yet again, face the Queen of Hearts. The Mad Hatter, played expertly by Johnny Depp, is indeed mad and hilarious. As usual, Burton has an unusual take into the histories of the characters that adds a whole new dimension to what you thought you knew.
Definitely a must-see.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
