I loved it. I am a huge fan of the actors choosen for the movie, but I also thought Tim did a great job with the story! As an old fan of the literary version of alice, they all impressed me.

Although Alice in Wonderland didn't have any eye-popping 3D affects or jaw-dropping moments, it was fun to watch and I don't regret it. The plot and characters were presented nicely, I loved the action scenes, the visuals and music were great, and the ending was satisfying. My only complaint is that the White Queen's role was too small, and that little female mouse was irritating at times. There were a few "violent" graphics, but nothing overly gory.

3D movies seem to be the craze this season. I paid extra to see the movie in 3D and I was disappointed. It really did not add anything to the movie, unlike what it did in Avatar.
My wife and I also had trouble with the characters. The Red Queen was wonderful, the White Queen was not believable, and Johnny Depp's role was very undemanding.
As we reviewed the movie with each other, we had a hard time finding anything in particular that struck us memorable or unique to this movie. It kept trying to build to something only to fizzle out before it reached the climax.

Everyone in my family enjoyed this movie. My teenage son liked Burton's offbeat style and my younger daughter got into the girl power theme. It's lovely to look at and the 3-D effects are fun. Loved the Cheshire cat, so cool. My kids gave it eight out of ten.

3D is the way to go when seeing this movie. It would have been enjoyable without the 3D experience, but it definitely made this movie an adventure. This is definitely not the typical Disney A in W experience, so I wouldn't recommend taking very small children. Other than that, anyone who enjoys this genre, Johnny Depp or Tim Burton will enjoy this movie.

suprisingly really eanjiyed the movie. Went with my 8 year old son (who wanted to see it) & my three year old daughter. SHe sat thru the whole film & even danced with the madhatter @ the end.

I thought the movie was pretty good. The best parts were when she makes her way to wonderland, such as the shrinking and growing and falling. i thought it would have been better to just remake the original in 3d because the storyline wasn't all that great. I took my daughter and boyfriend and we had a blast. This is a really good movie and the 3-D made it the best. My daughter was so excited and she was trying to grab the objects and sat forward to be w/them as well. Tim Burton makes the best movies!!!!!!!!

This movie was fanominal. I would definitely recommend seeing it in 3D. The imagery and cinematography is fantastic. Its a kid friendly and family friendly film. Although I think children would have a hard time understanding the meanings behind some of the activities that take place in the movie. Also, the fight scene with Alice is a bit gruesome. As an adult, I would watch if first before taking my children that way you can decide if its the kind of movie you would want your child to see.

This movie was a truly amazing rendition of Through the lOkking glass and Alice in Wonderfuland. Johnny Depp delivered another remarkable prfomrance which mixed his chaaracters of Willy Wonka and Jack Sparrow to perfection to create a truly lovable Mad Hatter. Helena Bohnam Carter was so lovable, it made it difficult to route against her as the villain. Tim Burton took a wonderful children's tale and brought it to life in an imaginative and creative style that will captivate the entire family. On a side note, the 3-d aspect ws fun, but not necessarilty worth the additional money.

I'm iffy on Tim Burton (LOVED Nightmare & Beetlejuice, liked okay Corpse Bride & Edward Scissorhands, LOATHED Charlie & the Chocolate Factory), but wanted to see this. I am SO glad I did, especially in IMAX 3D. This movie is amazing--lush to the eye, fantastic story writing, great characters. This is a definite keeper--one of the best movies I've seen in a long, long time.

The movie is wonderful, very quirky as usual but perfect for a Burton film. The details in the production, costume design, make-up, FX etc. are all wonderful to behold. The only complaint I have is that the 3D seem forced - the film was not made to be 3D and was an afterthought. Seems like to make the film 3D foreground and background images were given different sharpness, so somtimes when the focus is on the mid or background, theres' a huge blurry foreground object or character floating in 3D in front of you - which is very distracting. This is even more annoying in huge scenes where there's so much going on. I think watching it in it's regular 2D form would've been more enjoyable for me.

I think the only decent acting in this movie is the red queen. Most of the people in the movie are lacking the charisma often seen in Tim Burton films. I am thinking that perhaps the characters were restricted in the level of creativity due to Disney's involvement. Not sure. Also, the white queen's role is absolutely horrid. As someone who has read Lewis Carroll's "Alice in Wonderland" and "Through the Looking Glass", I feel that this movie was the best adaptation of what Lewis Carroll wanted to portray if he had known his books would be made into movies! It is dark and yet not ominously so. Johnny Depp puts in his normal genius performance, but the standout in this feature could possibly be Helena Bonham Carter as the Red Queen. The actress portraying Alice also give a wonderful, boldly naive performance. I give this movie 5 stars and highly recommend this movie to all of my friends. Well worth the ticket purchase price...and in this economy, that is rare!!

i enjoyed the movie itself, but the 3d was kinda pointless. it made it interesting to look at however i think i wouldve enjoyed the movie just as well without it. the characters were all fantastic - overall quite entertaining

All three of my children liked it. They are ages 5, 7, and 8. My son who is the 8 year old enjoyed it the most. It was a little hard to understand what The Mad Hatter was saying, so my two youngest girls were a little bored at times. As an adult, I really like 3D, but paying so much extra for children who may or may not put the glasses on seems a bit too much. It would be nice to bring our own from home. Then I wouldn't stress about them hurting their eyes while watching a blurry screen. At one point, my 5 year old dropped her glasses and couldn't find them. She watched the rest of the movie without glasses.

Didn't think I would enjoy it at all, ended up really enjoying it and want to go back to see it again...and I never go to the movies...but this entertainment, and in 3D would be worth it for even a second time! : )
