Very entertaining a quite a few laugh-out-loud scenes. There were a few scenes that were a little over-the-top, but that had to be expected from a movie like this. Glad I went to see it!

Really, there's not much more to the movie than that eternal trinity, as the men stumble from one outrageous party to another. But aside from the useless gross-out scenes, Stoller and a perfectly tuned Brand get every detail right, including the seductive egomania of celebrities and the predatory fawning of their handlers.
This is very much Brand's movie, with Hill playing a surprisingly subdued straight man. Still, the strong supporting cast - including Rose Byrne and Elisabeth Moss as the guys' girlfriends - easily holds its own.

This movie brought comedy back in a way. Comedy has been so boring lately. I laughed more out loud at the new Nightmare on Elm St. than at some of the new comedies. This movie kept me laughing though. I laughed almost every scene. Great movie. I will buy as soon as it comes on dvd.

I found this movie to be , touching, comical and honest. I say it was painful because the actor was able to convince the audience of what he did and did not feel. Most importantly what was lacking in his wild and crazy life. I found it to very real and felt his pain. Enjoyed it and would watch it again. Good entertainment, very true to life.

I was really looking forward to this show, expecting to see something akin to Adam Sandler's wit. What a waste of money! Jokes were very immature. Lame story reminded me of a frat party gone WAYYYY too long. Movie was mentally empty until last few minutes, and those ending scenes didn’t really fit with the rest. Maybe a 13 year old boy would enjoy this show, but adults would fare better with another movie selection.

Overall it was a pretty stupid movie. However, sometimes stupid movies make for funny ones. It was Laugh out loud funny through most of the movie. There were some parts that were so so. I can compare it to THE HANGOVER in terms of humor. Worth going to see it.

Who knew Puff Daddy was SOOO funny? He had spot on comedic timing. I absolutely LOVED this movie. My husband and I laughed out loud through it's entirity. Russell Brand's music in the movie was ridiculasly raunchy and the way he poked fun at celebrity was priceless! This movie is HILARIOUS! You will notice in the theaters (during previews, even before the movie has started) that many of the audience are laughing at the stupidest jokes and trailers....this is probably due to the fact that most of them are pretty stoned/high/on some kind of psychedelic drug. That should give you a good idea of what to expect for this movie. It's really funny, the jokes are very sexual, raunchy, and quite childish....but that's the point! It's hilarious....you cant help laugh at all the crappy situations they get themselves into while under the influence of drugs. I would say its like "knocked up" but even more raunchy...like 50x more raunchy.

Sincere, geeky guy meets insincere rock star and the result is both of them come out the other end as better people. In between there are sex, drugs, and digestive system special effects in close up. Also in between are some pretty funny jokes and we end up liking both characters.
The movie works on most levels and while it is not HILARIOUS, it is fun and in the current crop of movies it stands out for holding together and featuring good performances by both leads.

The actors were good, and gave their all - sometimes too much. The "attempted grossout" quotient outweighed the genuine humor, The last ten minutes attempted to have "heart" which was totally too late and too lame. You can't rely for 90 minutes on rectal penetration and then try for sweetness in the end. That said, it seemed to deliver for the younger crowd. Grownups should re-watch Hangover.

there were some really funny moments through out film. the comic pace through out movie was off. one got the jist of storyline early on in movie and draged off and on until the end of the movie. Hill and Brand make great comic pair. I just hope Russell doesn't get type casted into this type of roll

What a pleasant surprise this turned out to be: a film that I seriously thought was going to be dumb as all get-out turns out to be a hysterically funny, for-the-most-part-well-written & at times even a deep & sensitive exploration of fame & the rock star persona. Jonah Hill's & Russell Brand's characters are unforgettable, but watch for Sean Combs' role--easily THE funniest acting job I've ever seen him do. As far as total numbers of LOL moments go, I'd put this film right up there with DEATH AT A FUNERAL; sight-gags & 1-liners that will have you falling out of your chair. Couldn't have loved it more.

Those hoping for a summer celebration of wretched excess to rival The Hangover need wait no longer. This original buddy comedy is full of drugs, sex, rock 'n' roll and one of the most surprisingly enjoyable and consistent comedies of the year. Get Him to the Greek is a worthy companion piece to the underrated 'Forgetting Sarah Marshall' A must see!
