Apatow is at it again

Sincere, geeky guy meets insincere rock star and the result is both of them come out the other end as better people. In between there are sex, drugs, and digestive system special effects in close up. Also in between are some pretty funny jokes and we end up liking both characters.
The movie works on most levels and while it is not HILARIOUS, it is fun and in the current crop of movies it stands out for holding together and featuring good performances by both leads.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
