My two boys were so excited to go see Toy Story 1#2. Actually I was to because the second movie came out when I was a young teen so I hadn't seen it in awhile. I have to say the preview for the 3-D Feature was really over played. We left very dissappointed. My kids did love the classic part of the movie though. Just as an adult I feel like we got ripped off a from what we thought we were going to see. A big let down from Disney! The only reason it gets a three is because Disney didn't go with the orignal idea behind the movie which I never knew about until we saw the intermission trivia!

Took my 10 year old twins last night. They loved it. I haven't seen Toy Story in years so it was fun to relive the fabulous animation and look for little things I didn't see the first few times I saw it back when the kids were little. The 3D effects really made the "stiches, textures, etc" of all the toys really pop out at you. I have read above reviews, and yes the glasses were a bit big, fell down my nose a few times. But the beginning and intermission were adorable. I went to double features as a kid all the time. My girls didn't know what "intermission" was. Woodie and the gang explain it to the kids before the movie and tell trivia with a cute timer during the 10 minute intermission. Well worth the money!

My husband and I went to see the double feature yesterday and were totally blown away by the Real 3D graphics. We're both big fans of Pixar films, and honestly we'd prefer to see all their films in 3D. It was great to experience these two classics in the theatre again with other people who enjoy these movies. There's something for everyone in a Pixar film. Can't wait for Toy Story 3.

Most parts of these 2 movies were great. Our son loved it and didn't notice any flaws. Unfortunately, the adults noticed. I left with a severe headache due to the fact there were a lot of scenes in the movie that weren't QUITE 3D. Instead, there were several scenes that were badly blurred and made our eyes hurt. Outside of that one detail, it was very enjoyable.

The two movies are still fantastic movies. I found it a little tough to sit through both right in a row but maybe my eyes were just tired from the 3D. Speaking of 3D, it was good but not great. I imagine that's because the movies were not created with 3D in mind. Still highly recommended with or without the 3D option.

It's great to see these movies again on a big screen! The 3D effects are subtle for the most part, making it all feel more "real" without seeming like a cheap gimmick. There's also a cute new introduction to the double-feature and a fun set of trivia questions and "out-takes" from the movies during the intermission that make the whole thing feel more like a special event.

I took my 3 year old to see the double 3-D Toy Story feature and we had a great time. The 3-D glasses really made the movie seem to jump out at you. Only negative is the 3-D glasses provided were huge - they kept falling down my toddler's face so he finally gave up and watched the movies in a slightly blurry fashion. Overall, it was a lot of fun to see this classic in a new way.

I was thoroughly enamored by the 3-D effects of Toy Story and Toy Story II. Wish they would have come out like that the first time! We've watched them soooo many times at home, so the lines, well, we pretty much were quoting verbatim, BUT still great to see them in a new light. I was disappointed that there weren't more people enjoying the movies! Yes, we had a crying baby in our theater, no it wasn't the end of the world. My kids really enjoyed the shows, too. The price was 10 each for both movies, which was only 5/movie. A little expensive overall, but great time for the family. Looking forward to 3!

My husband and I took our 3 yr old son, and my sister(8) and my brother(11) to see these movies, we went with almost everyone from the family. We all enjoyed the movies and although the 3D made the movie seem more real, the glasses were too big for our sons head, and my sisters head. Over all it was a good experience. We cant wait for Toy Story 3!

I took my 4 year old for a special mother-daughter day out. We both had a wonderful time. We own the DVDs and are familiar with the movies, but neither of us had ever seen them on the big screen. The 3D effects are well done and do add to the novelty, but the movies are so excellent that that stand well on their own in 2D or 3D. Also, Pixar 3D moves away from you rather than towards you, which makes the 3D a little less noticeable than say a IMAX showing.

I took my 10 year old stepson to see this today at the 2pm show--at the Livonia, Mi. theater--7 and Haggerty. Lots of crying babies, little kids and yelling. NO parents seemed to be responsibe here and there was no one from the theater coming in to make sure things were going ok and stop the nonsense.
It was a pretty bad experience for me and my stepson couldn't understand "what was wrong with them??"
All in all, it was a great two movies. So cute and so realistic.
I am not sure I will go again to AMC 20 again.

Of course the movie (only stayed for first one) was great; However, EVERYTHING else was terrible. The people, to no surprise, were absolutely unbelievable. I know and understand that these are in fact kid movies, but that doesn't mean it has to be a friggen DAYCARE. There must have been at least FIVE infants in the movie theater, one of them even being carried up and down the aisle! I was even at the 10PM show, which got out past 1 in the morning. Any parent with the TINIEST shred of common sense would not have a small child, let alone an infant, inside the theater, especially that late. Anyways, it was so bad that I had to just leave before the second movie. Oh well, I somehow am not too surprised....

Excellent shows, as they were the 1st time. The 3D adds another element. I forgot how funny these movies really are. A lot of inside jokes for the adults, great humor for the kids. It's amazing that the Toy Story movies still hold up as well as they have (in the context of story and graphics) considering the first one was released back in '95. The story and characters were just as good as I remember but the 3-D really makes the world pop out and feel more alive than ever. I know this movie is made for us thirty-somethings more then our kids, but they did not need to make the 3D glasses the size that comfortably fits my fat uncle Jim more then my 4-year old. We completely gave up on trying to make them work on my 2-year old. Still a great experience, but come on, this seems like a detail that the Pixar machine should of been all over.

I loved these movies as a kid and I still love them today. Seeing them on the big screen again (and in 3D!) brought back lots of memories. These are great movies for kids of all ages and adults will enjoy it as well.

Everyone knows Pixar animation is the best and most of us have already seen these to films, however the idea of seeing them in 3D was the big attraction. Sad to say the 3D effect doesn't measure up! Both movies looked flat in my opinion!

Awesome to see on big screen after watching in video form for 10 years with my children! The 3D effects were great! The trivia with the characters at the intermission was a lot of fun for my 12 year olds who have loved the movies since toddlerhood!

I hve 2 year old and an 8 year old and they love the DVD's. It was much better to see it on the big screen and they loved it. We never had the opportunity to see these movies in the theater the first time around!

It has been awhile since I have seen these movies, but they made them better than I remembered. The toys were great in 3-D. They also had trivia for the kids to keep busy during the 10 minute intermission. I would highly recommend going for a fun family treat as this kept all ages happy and entertained...(4,7,16,27 & 44)

Bringing back the ancient double feature concept and adding 3D to two favorite movies SHOULD have been a good idea., BUT for my 4 year old grandsons, it was a failure.
Movies: Excellent
3-D: Not particularly effective and definitely not impressive ...The twins had never seen anything in 3D before, and if you mention 3D now, there would be little response and definitely NOT a "Cool!". They watched most of the movie without the "one size fits all" glasses with no problem.
Double-feature concept: Tooo long! As much as the twins like Toy Story 2, they did NOT want to stay for the second movie (10 minute break or not)! Old GrannyGG here WOULD have stayed if the twins had wanted to--they didn't! It was too long for even me!
