I haven't been a fan of the HP series very long. In fact I used to think the whole concept was stupid. I decided last year I wanted to give it a chance and I was going to borrow all the DVD's from a friend of mine to get catch and then watch DHP1 at the theater. That didn't happen so we, my son and I, made it a point to do it before DHP2 came out in the theater. This move was a very good ending. I think I need to go back and rewatch the whole series again and maybe even see DHP2 in the theater again. Well I may just watch P1 again then go see P2 again in IMAX this time. I may even consider reading the books. It was a fun ride and even though I'm a new fan it's sad to see it end. At least it did so with, what I think is a good ending.
Overall I liked Eclipse better than the other Twilight movies so far. However, some parts seemed to be repeated and were even covered in the last movie. I guess that's how it was in the books (so I'm told) but still, seems a good screen writer could figure out a better way to deal with the subject. Anyway, not much I can say here will affect anyone's decision to go see it. If you have seen the other two you have to see this one and you will have to see the last one.
I went in to this movie hoping for a fun movie to watch and it did not disappoint. I'm not a big fan of horror or gore. Zombieland was not scary and the gore was pretty tame. I almost gave it 5 stars but figured I couldn't give it the same rating I'd give to the Toy Story double feature or Inglourious Bas terds. However, the entertainment value to me is 5 stars. Go see it and have fun.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

The two movies are still fantastic movies. I found it a little tough to sit through both right in a row but maybe my eyes were just tired from the 3D. Speaking of 3D, it was good but not great. I imagine that's because the movies were not created with 3D in mind. Still highly recommended with or without the 3D option.
I think they could have done a better job considering this will probably be the last Harrison Ford Indiana Jones movie made. Story wasn't great. Some action scenes looked hokey (Shia doing the splits between the cars). I heard rumors about Shia carrying on the franchise possibly. Well I think they need some better stories if they plan to do that.
