I was not initially excited about seeing this movie, but decided to go with family for Thanksgiving. I am sooooooo glad that I did. This movie is the most inspirational movie I have ever seen and the best movie of Sandra Bullocks career. I am so very glad that I went. What an inspiration the Tuheys should be to each and every one of us.

Our whole family laughed and cried. A touching, meaningful and important story for the Christmas season. Even more delightful because it is based on a true story. Your teenagers will enjoy it with you (My 14 year old even held my hand!)

This movie was better than I had expected. Kept my interest the whole time. My 9yr old liked this movie as much as I did. Even though it was 2hrs+ I never looked to see what time it was. All gave great perormances. Nothing was over the top, all was believeable. Made me want to find out more.

This movie was great, it exceeded my family's expectations. Sandra Bullock is worthy of an Oscar for her performance, although I doubt the academy will make it happen. A movie for the whole family with humor, a serious strory and many life lessons. Enjoy!

I was initially reluctant to see this movie as not a sports fan and so I don't like "sports movies". However, football is really incidental to the story of one woman living her faith by reaching out to someone who has no one, someone who sees a need and fills it in a personal way without hesitation. Where others might just feel bad, she actually does something about it. She inspired me to look for ways to help others.

Great movie, uplifting and hopeful. Perhaps a bit hokey but that's okay. Would love to know which parts were true and which were "creative license," since it is just "based" on a true story. Nonetheless---fabulous time. Everyone did a great job; Sandra Bullock and Tim McGraw were very believable.

This movie touched every thing innate in a mother. It also stresses that one does not have to give birth to a child to love him/her. I believe it will also open those in the education arena; know your students - the quiet one may have something far greater going on in their lives than what would appear to be the inability to learn.

I took my 3 boys to see this movie and was so glad I did! What a wonderful lesson we all learned on how a family should act toward one another. The love and compassion these people had for each other, the level of commitment, and the innate need to protect one another...it was amazingly portrayed on the screen by this group of actors.

"The Blind Side" is effective in pulling at your heart strings and is a good family movie. On closer reflection the movie centers on the mother played by Sandra Bullock. She is a strong character that dominates the other actors, even the lead character. It was fun to see real SEC football coaches in more than cameo roles. Recommend you stay to the end to see the credits which feature many actual photographs of the family during their high school and college experiences.

Had to be one of the best family movies we've seen in a long time. Had the whole family from a 14 year old daughter to a 74 year old Grandma and we all gave it 5+ stars. (We are a huge football family, which made it even better, but you don't have to be a football fan to totally love this film)...would watch it again in a second! GO SEE IT...a wonderful "feel good" movie!

This movie is a prime example of what compassion and the love of a child can bring. You hear so often about children that are funneled through the foster system are damaged goods. In my mind and heart, no child should ever be considered such a horrific label. This family stepped up to the plate, made a home for a young man and showed the world what love can do. Good job to a starring cast, a director that listened with his heart, producers and writers that embraced a true story and Micheal Oher for making this family complete.

We had all age ranges, and everyone enjoyed it and got a lot out of it.. We would even see it again if the chance comes up, and plan to buy it on dvd when the time comes. It has warmth, laughter, courage, family values, and nothing to not like.

'The Blind Side' was a great movie. Sanda Bullock did an awesome job as well as the rest of the cast. The story of Michael Ohre pulls at your heart strings, there is no way you couldn't fall in love with him. I'm glad the producer and director of this film were able to share this story with so many people.
