This story has everything that is good about what every American should aspire to: Taking care of others who are less fortunate than we are. Based on a true story, this film has everything that a good movie shoud including the best of the best including Sandra at the helm. I saw the real character and her husband on TV and Sandra and Tim really seemed to have captured them completely. I especially liked the end where they showed all the pictures of the real family.

This is a human interest story that grabs you from the beginning. Sandra was very believable in her role of a concerned and loving human being, with a great deal of love but just the right amount of toughness to make you understand. Tim was also well fit for this role, and played a great support to Sandra's character. The star of the film brought it all together. Michael made you want to help him from the start.

My husband and I took our kids, 13 year old son and 10 year old daughter, to see this last weekend. We all LOVED the movie. Sandra Bullock and the rest of the cast were great and the story was fantastic. It was by far the best movie we have seen in years. As Bama fans, it was fun to see Coach Saban and the other SEC coaches playing themselves in the film. Even if you are not a sports fan, you will enjoy this movie!

Just like I heard the reviewer say on the nightly news tonight: true story & happy ending. I don't know how "true" vs "inspired by", but it's my understanding that much of the story of this famous football player is true. Heart warming & revealing, may just have you teary eyed within the first few minutes. Superb acting and plenty of comic relief.

What a uplifting movie to see. It was awesome. Would recommend to everybody of all ages to see. I would really enjoy seeing it again. It was so amazing to watch Michael overcome all that he had too all because someone gave him the time of day and took him under their wings. A very inspiring movie to see. Michael did a really good job of acting and I have always loved Sandra Bullock's movies. Great great movie.

I saw The Blind Side the weekend it opened and it was great. I'm a football guy and I thought it was a really good football movie. The guy that played Michael did a great job and same goes for Bullock. I would see this movie again indefinitely. It's also really funny but the story isn't always completely understandable for the younger ones. Trust me, my 9-year-old brother wouldn't stop asking questions on the way home.

If hardcore football action is your primary attraction to this movie, you might be disappointed, as there's not that much screen time actually devoted to play-by-play. However, if you're willing to allow your love for the game to take you through a study of human decency and compassion, this film is very worthwhile. Whether the mainstream media wants to admit it or not, this just may be the most significant movie Ms. Bullock has ever made.

Excellent movie. Have seen it twice. Once with my boyfriend and his children and the second time with all my children, Very inspirational and moving. A "feel-good" movie that the whole family can enjoy. Excellent acting by Sandra Bullock and Tim McGraw was great too. Kathy Bates is always good! Enjoyed seeing all the college coaches "try" to act.

First off, it is about time a really good family movie with values has been made. This movie has everything that happens in life. It was amazing. Sandra Bullock was amazing, she so much heart and soul in this role. Quinton Aaron was great as Michael. He brought the character to life. I highly recommend this movie to everyone. Took my daughter and my 11 year old granddaughter and they both loved it. My 76 year old mother saw it that same evening with a friend and she was so amazed and thankful that a good family movie was finally in the theaters. Thank you to the writers of this movie and the company that producted it. Keep up the good work and bring more family valued movies to the theater.

I've also seen this movie twice because I wanted the entire family to see how truly blessed they are, and what the kindness of others can do, and how despite adversity you can overcome. I don't want to spoil the movie for others, but this is one of only two movies this year that I have wanted to see a second time, it's just that good. I did hear that the young man playing Michael, or Big Mike lost 100 pounds to play the role. I like the cast they used, and the fact that they gave the follow up at the end with the real family. It was just great and I recommend it to all.
