My wife and I watched this movie on friday. We loved it from the start. Steve Carell and Tina Fey did a wonderful job. The comedy was great and right on point. Enjoyed will def get this movie on DVD when it comes out. I have never liked going to the movies to watch comidies but this movie opens my mind up a little.

Steve and Tina have wonderful chemistry. Story line was clever, but script degenerated into vulgarity when strong writing could have carried the film without doing so. Car vs. taxi scene was hysterical.

Tina Fey is Strong, wonderful, and beaufitul. Steve Carell: I would up there with Tim Conway, Vicky Lawrence, Lily Tomlin etc for being natural funning. Tina Fey and Steve Carell have a great chemistry together.
I took my wife to the movie for part of our 16th year anniversary. Was a great addition to the day.

I laughed more frequently during this movie than I have in years. There are some slow spots, but for the most part, the movie is very entertaining. The ending is not believable, but what do you expect for a silly comedy? Overall, it was a great little escape from the drudgery of everyday life.

Parents will like this movie more than those who are not parents. It is not raw or cutting edge. It is just a funny movie with parent targeted humor. If you go into the movie wanting to be entertained, you will be. If you want something like a "The Hangover", this is not it.

Most times I would recommend trusting the writers and keeping all improvised scenes to the outtakes reel. But not so sure the writers' material was any better. However, the improvised scenes, esp. Steve Carell's, mimicking Michael of "The Office" (AGAIN!), were just a bunch of silly, potty-mouth nonsense a 10-year-old would sniff at. And note to Tina Fey -- thanks for avoiding the pratfall, drunk karaoke and dress montage. But strip-club antics -- REALLY?????? Bad choice, Tina, just say NO.

This movie had moments where it had me ready to fall on the floor I was laughing so hard and then it had moments of potential greatness but it seemed like they couldn't really come up with any good ideas so they seemed to stumble into the next scene. It was like a slot machine. Some scenes hit it big and some scenes played with you like it was going to be good but just came up short. I still gave it 4 stars because it was totally original and the funny scenes were great. Also, Tina Fey and Steve Carell worked together extremely well. Hopefully they can do another movie together. Their chemistry has a lot of potential to be easily recreated.

This movie was laugh out loud funny. I am always afraid when I see funny previews that I may be getting the best of the movie. Not in this case, I laughed the entire way through and even chimed in a couple of times at certain parts. Completely normal except that I was having such a good time and I went alone. HA! I guess I'm biased because my husband and I are currently in the lifestyle as these characters. Married, responsible adults with young children is probably a boring and predictable life to everyone else looking in, but this show brilliantly makes fun of it and throw in excitement as well. I smiled the entire time, if I wasn't laughing out loud or squirming from the embarrassing moments of the characters. They are believable, and the chemistry is so convincing, that I think they need to somehow continue acting together in these types of roles. I think the movie will be liked most by those who are living or have lived as a married couple with kids. Classic Steve Carell and Tina Fey fans will also appreciate the talent!

Non stop laughs... Fey/Carrell are a dynamic comedy duo! This movie constantly makes you laugh. There is even a chase seen, which I almost sprayed pop out of my nose during! A MUST SEE!

This movie had the potential of being a great comedy. The story line was fresh; the comedians excellent, but once again hollywood takes the low road and chooses vulgarity over clever and tasteful.
What a cheap waste of great talent.
You might as well spend your movie fair on "boos" so you can get drunk enough to laugh at crap swirling in a toilet. The humor will be about the same.
No, I do not recommend this movie.

I saw this movie and I REALLY LOVED it! It was very funny! I laughed from beginning to end. I LOVE Steve Carell and Tina Fey. They were a great team! This is a really fun movie and very entertaining! Highly recommended.

This movie was so good. I haven't laughed that hard in a long time. I would actually go back and see it again. Pairing Steve Carell and Tina Fey was absolutely wonderful... A must see if you want to have a really good laugh...
