Most times I would recommend trusting the writers and keeping all improvised scenes to the outtakes reel. But not so sure the writers' material was any better. However, the improvised scenes, esp. Steve Carell's, mimicking Michael of "The Office" (AGAIN!), were just a bunch of silly, potty-mouth nonsense a 10-year-old would sniff at. And note to Tina Fey -- thanks for avoiding the pratfall, drunk karaoke and dress montage. But strip-club antics -- REALLY?????? Bad choice, Tina, just say NO.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
