The previews took forever but this movie flew by! Fun and funny, Steve Carell and Tina Fey paired well together. A quick and witty adventure that left me smiling.
I went to this movie with low expectations - I assumed that I had already seen all the funny parts in the trailers. I do love the actors though, so off I went. Turns out that there are many witty moments scattered continually throughout the movie! The ending is predictable, but I like to walk away feeling happy so that was fine with me. Enjoyable and entertaining.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Not being a sci-fi person, I was pleasantly surprised at the storyline offered by Avatar. Sure, some of it was over-the-top at times, but you are going in knowing that it is Sci-fi. The love story that was threaded into this movie was right up my alley, but the real treat was the 3D effect. Amazing. Beautiful. I would go back just for the wonderfully surreal feeling of being in the rainforest of the Avatar. I caught myself reaching out several times to try to capture the sparkling creatures and life forms that were floating just out of my reach! Action, romance, and really great atmosphere. Treat yourself!
