I was a little disappointed with this movie. Very predictable, old jokes and poor character development. I expected more from Disney. However, loved the broom scene. Overall, its a feel good movie that keeps you awake. Nice effects and interesting characters. I liked both Cage and Baruchel in their roles.

This was a very good movie, full of great special effects, a good story line and great characters. Cage is well placed in his role as is the bad guy (he was Doc Oc in Spiderman and serves as an excellent baddie!) The Apprentice was a bit obnoxious at first, but grew on you and you were rooting for him in the end.
I would highly recommend this movie for its entertainment value and I would see it again.

Very good movie, nice story line and the combo of Nicolas Cage & Jay Baruchel worked very well. This is a good movie for people who believe in Wizards & Sorcerer's. The Special effects were better than expected, and there was plenty of special effects scenes. The story has some good humor and a life lesson in it. Sometimes in life you have to believe in yourself and go after what you want.

Nicholas Gage was wonderful as usual. The acting in the movie all around was very good. The magic and special effects were delightful and the action sequences were fun. All the characters were interesting and Jay Baruchel was the consumate geek. My daughter and I really enjoyed this movie. I would have to say the only criticism I would have is that the ending confrontation sequence with Morganna was not as exciting as it could have been. Still the special effects were great!

My wife and I enjoyed this movie even though we are not the target audience. We could remember the music from the Sorcerer's Apprentice that starred Mickey Mouse and enjoyed it's inferences throughout the film. With the sometimes lough out loud scenes and some ofthe more serious ones made the film one to see. And yes I believe that the critics got this one wrong, (as they usually do when selecting a film I want to see.)

We were hesitant to see this movie due to the official critics giving it such bad reviews, but are we glad we ignored them and went anyway! For a movie targeting kids and teens, it was fantastic. After seeing the preview, this was our family movie of choice and were not disappointed. With this great Cast and Director this movie was very entertaining with the awesome visual effects and story line, I would definitely recommend checking this movie out. Monica Belucci and Nicolas Cage seem to be ageless.

Nicholas Cage's dead pan acting style not withstanding, this was a real fun ride. Not too in depth, the story line left a lot to be imagined, but what was on the screen was a delight. I thoroughly enjoyed this movie.
