While the special effects are fun, they will not blow you away. While Nicholas Cage is given a more 3-D character to portray, he manages 2-D. The reason you should watch the movie is to watch Jay Baruchel. And the reason you will remember the movie is because you watched Jay Baruchel.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

A sweet story about the courage of heart over brawn. an impelling tale of following your own drum. 3D effects are great but the imagery is sublime...
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Riveting tale

Riveting tale of finding a morally acceptable means of defying an unspeakable evil. True to life, the main characters do not always make the right choices. Every character represents another "voice" pulling the main character through the trial and tribulations of a modern day Moses.
Accents sometimes slip a bit, but using real Russian and German, etc lends a wonderful feel of genuine character.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
