A wild ride from start to finish. Scenes leave you breathless. Plot line is a bit ridiculous, but not without interesting twists and turns. You never are sure who are the good or bad guys. Angelina's character pulls off the unbelievable, but it is all exciting to watch. I wondered if a Tom Cruise, Brad Pitt or some other tough guy would have been better in the role, as perhaps a little more believable. Overall, entertaining and recommended if you are willing to accept the far fetched and just enjoy the ride.

Angelina Jolie is familiar to movie-goers lately as an action-oriented comic-book character and in this role as a double/triple agent, she does not disappoint.
The storyline is somewhat non-believable and there are many cinematic holes in the story itself. But overall it is a well-executed film and she does play her role quite well.
FInally, this is a Hollywood production, complete with sight and sounds to amaze, scenes and car crashes that only a large-scale production could pull-off.
I did like the character which helped me appreciate and forgive the more than human actions she was attributed with as well as disjointed plot-lines that leave you saying "whaaaa"?

OK, let's think about this. You have a woman running everywhere, in high heels, whipping up on 9-10 guys at a time. She outruns cars, bullets, etc.
She jumps from ledge to ledge down a greasy elevator shaft, and gets in all these fights, but her clothes are still spotless.
She is able to get past all the elaborate security precautions of the Secret Service and get to the president.
What's not to believe?
I see this character as a female James Bond--totally unrealistic but fun to watch.
And the plot took several unexpected turns, so it kept me interested throughout.

I went into the theatre hoping that this movie was going to be good and it was!!! I have paid to see it twice already and want to see it a third time.
The most frusrtating thing about this movie is that un-experienced action movie watchers will be confused by the plot. Both times I watched the movie I had someone sitting next to me asking questions the whole time because they didnt understand something.
The movie must be closely watched and every word said by the main characters needs to listened to in detail. Thats the only way to understand everything that is going on. If you talk a lot in the movie or even get up for a bathroom break chances are you will miss something crucial.
If you diligently watch action movies and know how to REALLY follow a good plot then you will fall in love with this movie. The negative reviews probably came from people who got lost somewhere in the movie and didnt realize what was going on.

Angelina Jolie shines as Edith Salt. The movie is stylish and current without being cartoony and overdone. The plot is edgy without being a total mind game that you need to piece together and think too much about. Some people say that the distinct point of SALT is the Angie acting as the main character in SALT, and that's it; I agree with it.
This is one of her most entertaining movies (in a violence way) that no one else may not act like her.

Too much eye rolling required to watch this movie.... the action and stunts were not based in any sort of reality. You can't set your movie in the real world, then have the characters, which are supposed to be real people, flying around like Superman. If the director is going to play it that way, ten it should be done as a joke. But the director just didn't get the tone of the movie right. But with all that said, I still enjoyed it, even though it was completely ridiculous. I just had to turn my brain off....

Great movie!! It is a fast moving, action packed movie with an ending that keeps wondering where it will go from there...Can we say SALT 2 ?! The acting is great, and the characters sometime shifts from being good guys, to the BAD guys all along.. That part makes it extremely interesting! There is allot of violence in this movie, but overall, a very cool movie!!! I recommend this movie very highly.

Great movie to watch. Story line is good and gets interesting as the movie progresses. There is always action in this movie so you wont be bored or fall asleep. Great twist of events.

I really enjoyed this movie and the different twists and tunrs in the movie really kept you on the edge of your seat. Angelina did a great job as she usually does in acting and really brought out problems this character was going through in the movie. Good action, good acting, good story. I give it a thumbs up for sure!

The plot had some twists in it. Had to watch closely to see who the next bad guy was. Took a 12 yr old to it and he thought the movie was great. The ending was left at a point so there could be a sequel
