Maury Yeston is a musical force to be reckoned with. Great choreography and sets. Sensual to say the least. After Penelope Cruz I need a cigarette. Fergie's solo powerful. Marion Cotillard, passionate yet vulnerable and believable. Daniel Day-Lewis walks a tightrope of emotions with ease. Sophia Loren? Always had it, always will.
Great seeing Meryl Streep & Steve Tucci together on screen again. Unexpected laughs and an on target (as usual) Streep portrayal of Julia. Amy Adams was delightful. An enjoyable tribute to a culinary giant. I have an autographed copy of "Mastering French Cooking" from her book release/signing visit to the cooking school I attended in '98. Tasty memories!
