It was fun and entertaining but not at all plausible. Another drawback was that Angelina Jolie is not the strong woman she was in other action movies. She seemed frail which made it harder to suspend reality (and you really need to be able to with this plot) than it would have if she was stronger.

Who has seen Salt and can wait for the sequel? This was a thrill from start to finish.
Angelina Jolie has firmly established herself as leagues above any of her female Hollywood colleagues: no one else comes to mind who could have pulled off an amazingly tough and complex yet feminine character like Salt the way she's done.
Excellent action, editing, plot and acting -- this is the new Bourne we've all been waiting for -- except hotter!

A very good action flick and a good little twist at the end. There are a few holes you can start poking in the plot if you think about it too much, but mostly this serves to keep you guessing during the movie and only become apparent afterwards as you start to deconstruct the movie.
They could've easily added another 20 minutes and done a little more character development - but it would've slowed down the tempo of the movie, so I understand the reasons for their choices.
Angelina Jolie is fantastic, but the scene on the window ledge really shows just how thin she is (watch her legs/ankles/feet) - it's the first time I'd noticed it in any of her films and it made me a little sad.

Done in the vein of the Bourne Identity, this movie action packed with plenty of chase sequences and gun fights. Despite all of the action and unlike the bourne trilogy it's a little unrealistic at points. With the ending, it's no doubt they're trying to start a series.

I liked it. Nothing mind blowing in this movie, but there was great character development, good action, and good acting. Plus being in a well air conditioned room for a couple of entertaining hours is nice, too. I think Angelina Jolie is the queen of the action movie. While I think it will be difficult to make a sequel to this movie, I like the idea that she plays a character I may want to see again and learn more about in future films.
