Salt was a fun movie that didn't disappoint me. Angelina is the best bad ass action star around. It is supposed to be a film where you suspend disbelief, but once you do that, the plot is a lot of fun and I loved the way it ended. It has the potential to follow-up with a sequel. I hope it is popular enough to do that.

Nothing irritates me more than people who go to a movie like this, that is obviously made only to entertain, and then whine that it isn't realistic. "There were holes in the plot". Seriously???? We (hubby, 18-year old & I) LOVED this movie because it's full of action & has a super-hot chick kicking a**. I thought the story was really good & had a different twist than most movies like this. I thought she did a great job acting & I was very pleasantly surprised that Liev Schreiber was in it...didn't know that going in. I would see it again.

The plot was full of holes and much of the story did not get fully explained but it was an engaging action movie. It did keep my interest and was fun to watch. The scenes were great for excitement even if they were pretty outlandish. I went for an action and I got it!

salt is awesome! jolie delivers in this action-packed film like no other woman, or man for that matter! the storyline was good too...wished there was more background perhaps showing her developing her skills (always a sucker for the 'in training' backstory). can't wait for the sequel....if jolie put on some weight, it would be even better....made you wonder how someone so slight would be able to take those hits.

I was very pleased. Best movie I've seen in a while! AJ was excellent in this-fit her personality perfect. I read somewhere that it was originally meant to star Tom Cruise-absolutely would not have gone to see it if he was in it. This movie was definately an AJ movie. Keeping in mind It's a fictional movie....it was action-packed and full of twists and turns. All of which, kept one from falling asleep. Very important with a large drink and bag of popcorn on your lap. Saw it twice, and second time was spent affirming that there's no way some of the costume changes could have occured in real life..but bought into it anyway. Good show.

I am a huge fan of the genre, and the Bourne series are among my absolute favorite films ever constructed. I had high hopes for Salt, but ultimately was disappointed with the ridiculous plot, the cliched dialogue, and the over-the-top situations in which our heroine/villain found herself. Angie Jolie is a believable action star, but the script let her down. Even my wife, who is not a big action film fan, chuckled during a few of the of the "pivotal" story elements. The best thing about it is that it is a relatively short 90 minutes.

You will not believe how completely ludicrous Salt's story is. It's not only that the whole Russia vs. USA is overplayed, but this movie wants to resurrect the the cold war single-handedly. It flops in the end and only Jolie's beauty and the action scenes keep things entertaining. Popcorn is a must for this film if you talk yourself into it. Once in, you'll laugh at the fact that you're present for this half-witted movie that seems to get more preposterous with each scene.

This is an entertaining movie with a good dose of suspense. The opening sequence could have been done in a shorter time frame. The acting is overall good. The action sequences, as in those of so many other action movies, are often unrealistic, case being Ms. Jolie's jumping from a bridge unto a trailer, and her car dropping one level in a parking lot with her coming out of it unscathed. The main plot is somewhat unclear. Overall though, this is a good action/thriller movie and I left the theatre having been entertained for a couple of hours.

Angelina Jolie is beautiful and she can act well. This poorly ditected and poorly edited knock-off of the Bourne series is a major disappointment. If you like alot of totally unbelievable digitally-created effects (yes, there are at least more believable of such effects in other movies), then you will enjoy this movie. Jolie also does a first-rate immitation of Tom Cruise's arm movements while running. The plot has interesting twists and turns, but I firgured out who the bad guy was in the first 10 min. Given the dearth of good movies lately, go to this one but don't set your expectations too high.

This is really a great movie. Angelina Jolie was made for the part. I hope that their will be a sequel

The movie could satisfy most moviegoers in search of spy intrigue and action for the summer and I thought it was satisfying in that way. I did believe, though, it was a bit predictable and I was able to figure out her intent during the course of the movie fairly quickly and easily as well as the hidden antagonist in the plot. A really good movie, but not a great one.

Movie was awesome! Ending threw me for a loop, but it was still exciting! Reminds me of the Angelina from Mr. and Mrs. Smith. The action was amazing!

Jolie is good. She does an admirable job as an agent under attack. She jumps! She alludes her pursuers. She kicks! She shoots! She punches and hits and blocks and stabs and runs and tumbles and you look at her and wonder would somebody that petite be able to devastate that many men? Not really but its fun watching her for 100 minutes doing it.
