What a great evening's entertainment! My friend and I agreed this was the best of the three Twilight movies. The plot was gripping, if intense. The relationship between Bella and Edward deepens and the tension between Bella and her werewolf friend is fully realized. I particularly appreciated the increasing depth of background provided as to more of the Cullen clan. I am excited at the prospect of two additional movies. With Bill Condon directing the last two movies, the franchise can only go up from here. Action: A; Production Values: A; Cinematography: A-; Acting: B+; Script: A. See this movie if you are hooked on Twilight. I promise you won't be disappointed. It's a real holiday treat.

there are a lot of guys out there who hate - twilight. i'm not saying it was the "best movie" but it also wasn't bad. I've seen all of the previous ones as well and this was just as good or maybe better. now, i took my girlfriend because she's into it. we're no "twi-hards" or anything but we do enjoy following the saga.

I had my doubts when David Slade was announced as director, but he really did a good job of keeping the story moving and of focusing on romance and action. The three leads performed much better than prior, and my only criticism is over the script catering too much to Lautner's role. Jacob in the book was vastly different than what was scripted here as was Bella's actions at times. But, for those who haven't read the books, that wouldn't have been a barrier. At any rate, I enjoyed the movie and the presence of more playfulness between Edward and Bella and the tent scene was especially well done.

My teenage daughter and I have seen Eclipse 6 times since it opened on the 30th. Why so many times? Because we absolutely loved it! A movie fanatic from my earliest of days, it is not unusal for me to view a movie I like multiple times. The movie has to catch me from the beginning and hold me throughout. This movie delivers!

I didn't even need to read the book to tell you what would happen in this movie. The characters seem to be losing their depth. I enjoyed the first two movies, but this one was very disappointing and too long. I will read the 4th book instead of bothering to see the final two movies.

More action than the other movies, managed the drawn out parts of the book well getting the message across without getting bogged down...hit all the high points of story, very well done. I've seen it twice already...really good. you will not be disappointed.

Eclipse, I will say was much better than the first and second twilight movies, but Kristen, Taylor, and Rob all remain poor, awkward actors. Everyone else in the movies do a great job, but the three main characters just can't get it right. So yes, while it was better than the other two, there is definietly room for improvement. And like always, the books are ten times better than the movies.

The first movie was great but with it's low budget, felt more like a made-for-cable movie. The second movie was o.k. but didn't deliver the action involved in the book. This third movie really hits the mark with a much better blend of action along with the deepening love triangle between Bella, Wolf-boy and Eddie. The movie stays very true to most of the book. The support characters of the Forks high school kids and once again, Esme's character, seem superfluous and given little or no screen time. After being slightly unhappy with how New Moon felt, I was pleasantly surprised with Eclipse.

Eclipse is not one of my favorite books in the series. However, the movie itself has the best quality out of the previous two. It had alot more action in it while staying pretty true to the book by Stephenie Meyers. I would see it again.
