The first movie was great but with it's low budget, felt more like a made-for-cable movie. The second movie was o.k. but didn't deliver the action involved in the book. This third movie really hits the mark with a much better blend of action along with the deepening love triangle between Bella, Wolf-boy and Eddie. The movie stays very true to most of the book. The support characters of the Forks high school kids and once again, Esme's character, seem superfluous and given little or no screen time. After being slightly unhappy with how New Moon felt, I was pleasantly surprised with Eclipse.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
