This was by far my favorite of the three and all the actors stepped it up to give us an excellent movie. I'm Team Edward, but Taylor really did a great job (even though he's not 6' 4". Great movie! Can't wait for Breaking Dawn

Better than the first two. The actors were great! Kristen Stewart's acting has gotten better, but I still feel that she strains A LOT! There were actually funny lines in the movie, that drew laughs from the audience.

I love the books, read them multiple times. Eclipse the movie had so many discrepencies from the book, from the valedictorian who was Eric in the book, to the way Rosalie told Bella her story, the fight after Jacob's first kiss, to the tent scene. The fight scene was however the most disappointing Bella was still at the tent when Jacob got hurt and Jacob did not phase back immediately he had to be persuaded later that it would be better for his recovery. I did enjoy the movie better the second time around after I reread the book for the fourth time. Still looking forward to Breaking Dawn.

I have seen this movie 3 times already; 1st time midnight show then again on Saturday with friends who wanted to see it then again Sunday morning with my daughter and her friend who had not seen it yet. I really enjoy it; lots of romance and action in this movie; a little more with Jacob and Bella but of course she choose Edward; I would too. I am really looking forward to the last one now.

The acting was horrible, I've seen better acting on amateur videos on youtube. The story is awful. Please go see The Last Airbender or anything else before you waste your money. I took my 11 /yo daughter to this, she liked it. Adult males should stay away from this movie. It was crap!

Otherwise it will not make much sense and may not be that interesting to you. I have not read the books, however will start to after this. Very interesting plot of events, even though this is a teen movie I greatly enjoyed it and I am a grown woman with a child basically these kids age in the movie. LOL. Really cool to me. After seeing new moon I borrowed and read eclipse and I loved it, there wasn't that much suicidal teen romance in comparison to what I've ears of the other books and the action and suspense throughout the book was great, plus Jacob is a bad ass. But this movie was nothing like the book in it's lack of suspense, little action, horrific acting and a crappy attempt at romantic scenes, and god awful attempts to be funny(honestly the only thong funny about this movie was that me and my girl couldn't atop laughing at how bad it was, especially the acting)but all that could have been forgiven if they would have done the Jasper flashback right. Jaspers telling of the newborn wars that took up atleast 100pgs of the book hadn't been watered down to a quick 2min retelling. I literally used my iPhones stopwatch during this movie to time how much action or suspense occurws during this movie and the final tally was a astonishing 12mins. 12mins! That alone is enough to keep people away from the most action packed book in the twilight series. I feel sorry for people who are expecting a big showdown with the volturi in breaking dawn.

I haven't read any of the books and don't really plan to as screen plays must stand on their own. This episode has quite a bit of action and some very nice CG. The storyline is heading in an interesting direction, much like that of all the other vampire/werewolf shows, with Underworld being the first. Bella is the center of this vampire/werewolf world, and the storyline is just barely beginning to touch on that. While I do like the dynamic of Edward's family (and you learn much more about it in this movie), the werewolves just steal this movie. Who doesn't luv canines? With some very well executed flashbacks, the history of both Edward's family and the werewolves/Indians is told.
My personal thought is that the storyline will not be able to hold together if Bella goes through with becoming a vampire, and the days of the Volturi leadership are numbered, but we shall see in the last two episodes of the saga. Until then, enjoy the movie. This episode was made for everyone.

The action scenes are pretty good if you can sit through all the "I love you", "I dont love you", "Marry me", "I love him", "I love you", "Do you love me"...blah, blah.....If they cut all that out, the movie would be about 15 minutes long.

I have never been a Twilight fan, never read the books, etc. Some friends dragged me to the first one, and the second. And now the third. I could honestly have waited until this was on video. It has some funny parts, some surprising parts, but I would have been okay never having seen any of these movies.

Eclipse was a great movie but I found there was so much more detail in the book. I would have liked to have seen some more details (the "sleepover" kidnapping that Alice did for Edward and the resulting phone message left by Bella). Overall great movie and I can't wait to see it again or for the first part of Breaking Dawn to come out next fall.

I am a die-hard fan of Stephanie Meyers four Twilight saga books, and honestly did not expect to like this third installment as much as the book; I am pleasantly suprised to say that the movie was excellent! The larger filming budget as obvious, but more than that, the actors seem to have finally hit their stride; where during the last movie I found Bella extremely mumbly and annoying, she has somehow found a way to improve on the character and did a perfect job. I loved Jasper's back story, loved the action sequences, thought Jacob portrayed his tormented character flawlessly, and was sad to see the movie end! I wasn't sure I even wanted to see this movie, after the last one, but now am excited for the release of the final film.

I loved the all encompassing love that both edward and jacob have for bella. The love that two rivals had for this "normal" human girl, have brought the "good" vampires and werewolves together in a closer bond.
I took this from the movie over all....
