The movie was one of the best I have ever seen in the Imax and probably the best in Imax 3D (and I've seen all of the blockbusters such as Avatar and Alice in Wonderland). The story was well put together, one of the best book adaptions in recent history. Excellent and enjoyable for both kids and adults, not sappy like a lot of children's movies nowadays! Yet, not to violent and adult orientated either, great mix for everyone to enjoy.

Took my grandkids, ages 7, 10 & 14, to see this wonderful movie, great story line and amazing animation. The filmmakers took care not to only add detail to the film, but the story was well thought out. My five and four year old both loved this movie and it was very enjoyable for me as well. Great fun for the whole family. The 3D was cool, although not really necessary. The kids couldn't wear the 3D glasses because they were too big to stay on their noses.
Toothless may remind you of Stitch from Lilo & Stitch and with good reason! Both characters were created by the same animator. It you liked Stitch you will love Toothless!

Took the family to see this in 3D at the IMAX and it was excellent. The 3D was done very well and the dragon riding scenes were the best. The story has a good message for kids that are trying to find there way in life and connect/communicate with their parents. A lot of cute and funny scenes that the family will enjoy.

This was a GREAT movie. It didn't scare my kids, they laughed all the way through it, the humor was ALL on their level (i HATE when 90% of the jokes are for the parents and kids don't get it). It was sad towards the end, but they worked it in well and the ending was great. We saw the movie in 3D IMAX and it was EXCELLENT. the effects were AMAZING and everything blended together well. REALLY great. Will be buying this one when it comes out on blueray.

My daughter is a dragon aficiando so this movie was a must-see. It was surprisingly enjoyable for the rest of the non-dragon loving family. Sweet story...misfit, misunderstood adolescent saves the village and gets the hot girl. Wonderful 3D effects.

It must be me but I thought it was good but a little too long. I was getting a little buggy. I also think I would sit further back. I sat in row H and found some of the close up action difficult to watch. The storyline did have an excellent lesson built-in but I found myself thinking the same through Titanic and Rataouille... WHEN IS THIS GOING TO END! My nephew is 8 and he seemed a bit bored too. I didn't hear a lot of reaction from any of the kids.

Great movie, was an awesome movie for my son who has been learning about his ancestors the Vikings :) first few minutes it shows a Viking punching a dragon in the face....sounds about right!

This movie was awesome in every way but a little bit much for my 4-year-old daughter. She seemed a little frightened a couple of times but she did talk about dragons for the rest of the day. The 3-D IMAX exprerience brings movie watching to an entirely different level. Avatar was a good 3-D move but the story/graphics in Dragon kept my attention more. A MUST SEE IN THEATERS!

A whole lot of fun - fabulous in 3D at the IMAX Would recommend this to everyone. A few scary moments for the little ones, but other than that - great.
