This was as busy of a movie as I think I have ever seen. The levels of complexity, the fast action, the suspension of reality all make for a whirlwind of a ride. In the end...I had lots of questions that faded away quickly. Had the questions stayed and made me think about them longer, I would up this another star but it just felt unfinished.
This movie was awesome in every way but a little bit much for my 4-year-old daughter. She seemed a little frightened a couple of times but she did talk about dragons for the rest of the day. The 3-D IMAX exprerience brings movie watching to an entirely different level. Avatar was a good 3-D move but the story/graphics in Dragon kept my attention more. A MUST SEE IN THEATERS!
I have a video camera and love horror movies and always thought to myself, "How could I make a good, cheap, believable horror film with no props, special effects, or crew?" This is how you do it...I LOVED THIS MOVIE. I can relate in that I am always shoving a camera in my wifes face and hearing her compain about it. My house creaks at night (I don't think its haunted). I think I'm tough and can handle everything on my own and my wife was a lifelong student (until recently). Throw in a haunting, good acting, awsome dialogue, some comedy relief and you have a winner. I was afraid to go to the bathroom last night; really I held it until sun up.
